Hey dude how did you find out it was at that specific rail yard? I'm wondering if mine is at a railyard close to my dealer or if it's like across the state.

Best of luck to you, hopefully they get your car much more efficiently. If you bought from a larger dealer then I am sure there will be less chance of any issues. You may even get it earlier.

I am just happy bc tomorrow the $500 retail rebate from Ford expires and I have a $750 private cash offer that expires tomorrow as well. So if it does show up like they guaranteed, then I will be able to use both.

Ask Deysha aka [MENTION=7992]FordService[/MENTION] PM her your VIN# or just ask her on here. Shes been my main source for info. And for a lot of us on here. Mira Loma has a ton of SoCal Mustangs though, well at least a lot of guys on here were also informed that their Stangs are in ML.

It's for all Mustangs outside of the GT350s. You have to take delivery by tomorrow. It's on Ford's site under their incentives page.

Just emailed my dealer, gona see if this is the reason why Ford is keeping all of our cars in the yards. I mean it makes sense, everyones car is stuck at the yard. Coincidentally right when this cash back deal is about to end

I was told by my dealer which it may be different per dealer (pretty sure). But anyways, when i placed the order or when i sign to take delivery i get which ever incentives were or are running (which ever is better).

I asked what the x plan price of my order was and what i was given (for the price before incentives) was 100 below the x plan. I will know more when i actually do the paperwork whenever my car gets to the dealer but i would ask them if there was any price/incentive locking for when you placed the order, it doesn't hurt to ask.

Road Trip!!!

Being an eternal realist (life must go on), has anybody that has survived this thread thought about going to the Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise this August (2016)? Long, long, ago… in a galaxy far, far away, Woodward Avenue WAS the street racing capital of the world. Not any real information for this coming year yet, but here’s what has gone on in past years:

Dates are Monday, August 15th, 2016 through Saturday, August 20th, 2016. Maybe plan a day or two to visit the Henry Ford Museum:

Right across the street from Ford’s Dearborn Development Center and Test Track and just down the freeway from Glass House.

As an incentive (or disincentive), I’ve posted “Road Trip” miles for some of the long time posters in this over 60 page thread:

• About 610 miles for Brendan688 from Knew York

I say yes, my mom has a 2010 GT, dad 2009 Shelby, and i have family that lives up there, in fact my uncle is retired Ford. I was up there few years back during the Helluva cruise which was literally on the road of some family members. I think it would be kinda neat to represent the early 2016 stangs. And don't worry bout miles i've driven that in a day once before.

They sent a pic of the car on the trailer arriving at the dealer and it had a huge sticker on the driver's side window. When I got there it wasn't on there. The window sticker was on the passenger side window. They did seem to leave everything else as is. (Plastics covering everything) I really hope that they didn't go for a long "joyride" I will not be happy!

Got my VIN# on Monday. Was told the build week would be Oct 12th. That's amazing since I ordered Sept 18th. I PM'd Ford Service to see if any further info could be gotten. No replies yet but I'm sure they are stacked up with all the orders!

Yes, MDRN, it is. It was built on 9/9/15, released on 9/26/15, and put out to await shipment on 9/28/15. This happens all the time.

They know what it looks like, angermgmt14. It’s normally on the front windshield or the driver’s side window.

They’re not stuck there, S5fiddy. Yours arrived there on Friday, and it can take anywhere from a couple of days to almost 2 weeks before the trucking company picks it up.
