2016 Mustang Orders Placed Thread (Vote/Share Here)

Ordered a Shelby GT 350 on 9/4/15 and not sure when they will start production. Ford tracking is not working. Any help would be appreciated. The dealer said I have a order # and that the allocation has been pulled. But that's all I know.

Has anyone else had the problem that I currently have? Basically the order number I was given (R111) is unavailable to the COTUS or Deysha, I called my dealership and they said that order number was just internal to their system, that once they submit to Ford it gets assigned a new order number.

They've said they don't have that number and will basically hear no updates until 4 days before it ships when they'll get the VIN.
I am going to try to call them again to get someone to take time to find that Ford number if possible, but was wondering if anyone had any advice.

Once the order is accepted, it may get a different order number, Tomo. PM me with your options and when you ordered, and I’ll check their order bank again.

Just got a PM from our Guardian Angel "Deysha" with the link to my window sticker which should be live by Wednesday and an ETA of 10/17 to my dealer (Galpin Ford - Los Angeles). My estimated build week was 9/21 so hopefully the rest of you with the 9/21 build week also received some good news today.

My window sticker went live this morning with a blend date of 9/21 and an estimated delivery date of 10/18. :ford: :cheers:

Thought it would be kind of neat for everyone on here with a 2016 who ordered to keep track of each others builds to get an idea of scheduling, eta and just an idea of how long and what options.

Lol that was me was checking my VIN and a few others to see if I could get a window sticker to come up.

Also have been ordering them off build week/ date then all others by ordered. Also been colorizing them blue for built.

How long did it take to get delivered after it was built?
