I'm brand new to the forum but I'm looking to build a 2016 Mustang GT Premium Magnetic. If I placed my order today, what is a realistic time frame to see delivery of the car?

It looks like they have already scheduled most of the retail orders they had back logged before the OK to buy was released by other posts on the forum. Seems like a 6-8 week timeframe is reasonable. You might try to PM Ford Service (Deysha) on this forum to see what see says. She is the most reliable source I've found (she's GREAT). The wait will be worth it :cheers:

Glad to be a member of the forum.

I just placed my order and was told 6-8 weeks on the delivery. I purchased the GT Premium with PP. Can't wait for it to arrive, the test drive was awesome! The car is a beast compared to the '89 GT I had!

Just sold my 2014 Roushcharged GT/CS modded Mustang. Ordered a 2016 GT/CS automatic, 355 gears, adaptive cruise control, reverse camera, 401 package ..........etc. The color ordered was Ingot Silver with the black painted roof option.............Dealer say around nine weeks for arrival. I will now own a 2015 & 16 . The new Mustang will remain factory stock. The only change may be for a new cat back exhaust. All the final details were concluded at the dealership yesterday. This is the 4th Mustang that will have purchased over the years.:ford:

3.5 HOURS of paperwork later...

No front plate, no dealership wash. I'll let it cool off a bit and do a basic wash tonight to get the transport crap off it. Then another on Sunday with a full wash/wax.

Congrats! And welcome to the forums. Every "MidLifeCricsis" deserves a new Mustang! Might PM Deysha (FordService) on this thread with your customer order number, dealer number, and last name on Thursday. Should be in Ford's system by then. Seems like orders are poppin' through the system pretty fast now that "OK to Buy" has been issued. Hope you get it before the snow comes!

Speaking of snow:

Oh man still no VIN , this is killing me. Why , why, why. :frusty:

Still no VIN???? Damn, that hoovers. All those parts in the garage, and no car to put them on.

Maybe yours will be like a friend's... never showed up in COTUS until AFTER it was built, and showed "Awaiting Shipment". Then disappeared from COTUS. Got a phone call from the dealer about 4 days after it disappeared to come and pick it up!
