Anyone know when retail orders begin scheduling? I ordered mine on June 8, nothing in COTUS yet. It would suck to be getting my convertible in November/December in NJ.
I would guess mid August.

As long as there are no delays, I don't see us getting the retail ordered cars until late Sep, early Oct at the earliest. Scheduling probably won't happen until the beginning of next month sometime. Those of us with retail orders still have a bit of waiting to do.

I'm debating my order now. I placed it July 8th. The dealer promised 8-12 weeks, 12 at the latest which would be Sept 30. Based on what I've read, that seems highly improbable. I'm wondering if canceling now and then re-ordering in the spring. I don't want to pick it up in November and not be able to drive it. Also I got the ecoboost performance package, which comes with summer tires, not looking forward to driving that home!
If I knew it would be that late, I would have waited. I had two dealers assure me that 12 weeks was the very latest and would probably be closer to 6.
Hoping that priority 10 means does something for me, no clue if he made it stock or retail.

If you haven't done so already, I would PM Deysha she will be able to confirm if your orders have been accepted and are in the system and give you better lead times on the actual build date estimates. She needs your order #, Dealer name and your name to research :ford:

If its priority 10 its a retail order, and won't be built until late August/sometime-in-September, and then delivery 3+ weeks after that.

Dealers are always optimistic, there's very little downside to it for them. Delays they can blame on the manufacturer, and worst case you get impatient and buy something on the lot from another dealer.

Anybody able to see a 2016 on COTUS yet?

Not for me. Mine went from a 2015 Escape delivered in January to currently showing "not found".

COTUS is a joke. I would not rely on any info from that thing. How long is it going to be in "beta" or whatever the excuse is?

Take the damn site down if it's not working, which it obviously isn't. A beta system should never have been introduced to retail buyers in the first place. I sure hope the rest of Ford's systems aren't this pathetic.

I will be away for two weeks in October. That's when it will probably come in. Not a fun vacation worrying about someone at the dealership beating up on your brand new baby.

I’m sure it’ll get here before November, Brendan688. Once it schedules, you’ll have a better idea on time.

It was never supposed to be used, WeinerDog. We selected a few members to test it out, and they began sharing the link. Now, here we are… ;)

It works rather OK for orders that have been scheduled for production. Unfortunately none of the 2016 retail orders have been scheduled yet so people will complain about it. At least until scheduling begins. :frusty:

According to Deysha my build is scheduled for delivery at the end of August. I'm crossing my fingers and remaining optimistic!
