Congratulations to those that took delivery of your rides. They are looking sharp. I received my VIN only 7 days after ordering. I have an estimated build in early April. Unfortunately the car will deliver well before I return from overseas. The dealer is going above and beyond to set the car aside and accommodate my request to put a cover on it until I take delivery this summer. I'm very pleased with the overall process so far.

Ordered: GT Premium - Magnetic Metallic w/ Ebony Interior (Premier Trim).
401A Equipment Group, Enhanced Security Package, and Navigation

Planned build before and after delivery: Roush Phase 1 Supercharger w/gauge cluster from the Ecoboost Mustang, Ford Racing by Borla Sport cat-back exhaust, Ford Performance Track Handling Package w/ Half Shafts, Michelin Super Sports and a few goodies from the GT350 (coil covers and start button) to round everything out.

This has been two years in the making and everything is lining up. Now it's just an exercise in patience as most of us on here have experienced. I'm so looking forward to getting back home to my family and taking delivery. It will be a blast!

I ordered my car from a dealer here in Jersey on Saturday the 5th of March and they assured me that they would have no problems getting the car as they are a big Mustang dealer with lots of allocations. I still haven't gotten my VIN but I'm constantly pestering them. ;) Anyone know how long it usually takes to have a VIN associated to my order?

My EcoBoost Premium was produced last night and is released awaiting shipment today. Exactly one month from order to release to shipment.

I just got word from Ford Service that my car is on rail with an ETA of 3/26. I'm stoked!

Today, I finally got to see my baby in the flesh. I got a message at work from Ford Service this afternoon saying my car had been delivered, and needless to say I looked like a fool dancing and carrying on like a kid on christmas. ...

i finally received a vin last week and ford csr told me over the phone it was scheduled to go into production then contacted my dealer to see what they said, told me the same thing and even went to say my car has a eta the week of 04/11. i remember the csr telling me something about 4/11 but it was build week though i think. fast forward to today, ford csr told me my car was still in order processing, with no eta...no expected build date...no dates at all...im about to take my deposit back and wait for a 17 at this point...lol.

Took delivery last night!

Would have posted pictures last night, but the ones I took at the dealership came out awful (poor lighting conditions, it was night by the time we closed the deal and I thought about taking pictures!).

My dealer listed my car on their web site as in stock. It looks like a "we received the car" scan because all the specs are generic. I'm hoping it got dropped off a little early and I can have it this weekend.

Went to pick mine up today. Everything looked great except for the hood. It was not aligned up correctly and I had to leave it there to be fixed. As long as they get it aligned correctly I will be driving it home tomorrow.

Thanks to the FordService Crew, I now know the build date for my Magnetic CS convertible GT (April 5th) and the tentative delivery date (April 21st) . The snow is almost gone so the timing is perfect.

Just ordered it today (April fools day) and the only thing I got hoe is a Motor vehicle purchase agreement. When shall I be expecting for a DORA or anything else?
