No mention of the options discussed previously? (Cali Special/Black Roof etc) :(

But then it doesn't mention the GT350, either, so there's still hope :ford:

Good point

I did also notice the references to the Fusion (including the Police Interceptor) refer to it as a '15 still :)

Take it with a grain of salt, as that brochure is for fleet sales.

Do you think Ford would ever add a wood dash option that would replace the aluminum bezel that runs horizontally along the dash? If they used some high-quality, real wood like Mercedes or BMW, I can see this looking good in this car.

I think the interiors in prior generations of Mustang have looked way to cheap to pull that look off, but I think it actually could work in the premium version of the S550.

I think something like what's in the Mercedes CLA (which is also a $30k car) could look great:

Never

It's a mustang not a mercedes. That would just clash with the car's entire identity

That screen Mercedes put in there looks like it was glued on after the car went into production like they completely forgot about it.

Pretty sure the earliest Mustangs had wood dashes, so I don't see any conflict there (see the 1965 below)

Also, wood dashes have been used in plenty of sports coupes made by Jaguar, Mercedes, and BMW, so I don't see why it wouldn't work. If Ford is trying to make the Mustang a more "global" sports coupe, I think that would be a good option to match their competition.

Again, it would be an option. I can see plenty of people hating it, but I would go for it depending on how well they could pull it off. There are a lot of people here (like me) who cross shopped Audi, BMW, and Mercedes, and I can see that segment being interested in a nicer interior option.

Each to their own.........but no thanks

Yeah I hate the fake, stick-on aftermarket stuff too. If they SPARINGLY used REAL wood from the factory, I think it could look nice. I had a 1998 Lincoln Continental with real birdseye maple sparingly used on the doors and dashboard, and it looked super nice. The fake stuff (whether factory or aftermarket) always looks terrible.
