My dealer sent me a screen shot saying that my car will be built on October 25, and ETA between Nov 1 and Nov 7. Hope that won't slip.

CONGRATS ! Blend date is when your car starts down the line.........There's probably a roll of steel with your name on part of it ready to go !:clap2::ford:
You all talked about the "blend date" but all I can see is a blend number with a date column in front. Is that the blend date you refer to?

If that is true, then the spreadsheet reflects the dates the cars started to get built, not the dates they row off the assembly line. Am I right on this?

So it the blend number same as build number?

No word on whether it's possible to get dealer ZIP codes for these VINs? I'd love to see where they're all going.

called FP this morning, confirmed my car was build this week.
said it is scheduled to be shipped out later next week, but added that the 15s aren't even shipped out yet(so the date may change)....told me to call back in a week's time.

but the general feeling is, we are getting close.

I am from Toronto, Canada. Most mustangs will be shipped by convoy so literally it is a 5 hour transport.

Yes the column to the left is the date.......I don't know the exact time frame from then, my understanding is that is when the chassis gets into the assembly line.

I have a hellcat charger w a vin so it comes first that is the choice
I saw one in person the other for the first time. What a GORGEOUS car. Color was awesome, it sat awesome and had a killer idle rumble as well.
You could hear the supercharger whine and he wasn't even getting into it. Awesome. Good luck man.

Ladies and Gentleman,

Good afternoon. By any chance does anyone here know, or have the means to inquiry through Ford as to why most of us that ordered through MAS have such a late build date? From what I know it ranges from April of next year to June (mine) except for one guy who said he has his build sometime this year. I was just wondering if you could provide a hand. Thanks. My MAS rep says its a waiting game and nothing to be done, but I would like to know at least why.

Those are requested delivery dates, Not build dates. Requested delivery dates don't really mean squat.

So this means my car can actually be produced a lot sooner? Is it possible to find out about my status without a VIN # generated? I literally will be borrowing a car until I can pick mine up so I'm stuck waiting

It is possible that you will be borrowing the car for a while or buy a junker until delivery, It could be built sooner or later no one really knows, email the person who sent you your order acceptance email for your order status and maybe they might have your VIN. I haven't bothered checking on the status of my order because winter will be here before delivery and it would have to sit until Spring, So I would be fine with a March delivery date to a US Port an another 30 days by boat.
