No drilling/tapping required anywhere in this kit. The blower has its own self contained oil.
Thanks, that was a big thing for me,another plus for me picking this kit.

That's great to hear. I may actually end up trying to install this thing myself one day

You would not be disappointed.

Although I had it installed on this car I installed one on my last car which was 2005 GT and just finished installing on in my 2015 F-150. The kit is top notch and is completely doable for anyone who has basic mechanic knowledge.

The direction are pretty close to perfect but for the occasional confusion any one of the guys @ Whipple are more than happy to help and you can bet your bottom dollar most anyone on this forum will be here to help as well [emoji6]

What did the shop charge you for the install if you don't mind me asking? You can also PM me if you don't want to share publicly

Most shops are in the $1,000-$1,500 range I believe.

I had more work done at the same time including 3.73 to 3.31 gear change

from what I am learning about SC, i will probably make this gear change also. I get plenty of city drive and usually drive 2-4-5 anyway.

What did this combo (sc/331) do to your mileage?

I have a question for you guys. Did anyone go with the 3.625 pulley? And do you have to get a different tune for this pulley? Im currently running the 3.75 and purchased the 3.625 to change to at a later date. Also, where did you guys set your bottom adjustable pulley?

I'm running 3.625 pulley and no new tune needed.

The procedure for adj pulley is to use 1/2 breaker bar (or the like) and release tension on belt tensioner and hold it while sliding the adj pulley to snug the belt. Tighten adj pulley then release belt tensioner.

This is easier if you have someone hold the belt tensioner while one adjusts and tightens pulley

So your current tune will support the 3.750 pulley as well? I know its only 1 psi difference but wanted to make sure I didnt have to have a new tune to switch to this pulley. Also Im pretty sure Im doing something wrong on the "crank relearn" It says to blip the throttle above 4000 rpm until the MIL goes away. Do I need to have the flare hooked up while doing this.

Just curious, was anyone that installed this on a new car worried about the factory warranty?

I haven't tried the crank relearn so I can't be sure how to answer this.

The current tune will support either pulley

Im not worried one bit. Im used to just fixing what ever breaks (with in reason). Granted with the Whipple your chances increase greatly! But its really a "to each his own" type of thing. Some people worry about it some dont. You can check with Ford and get their exact answer.

You don't need a new tune for a pulley change.

The only way you can do a relearn is with the flare connected as it toggles the relearn process. You go over 4000 a few times and you will be good to go. This is normally not needed but if you get a misfire code or changed flywheel, then it's needed.
