2016 GT Rear Camera override switch.

I am looking to have a sort of "manual" activation of the rear camera so that i can use it when I want. But im having trouble finding any wire diagrams online. Would love some help if anyone has the diagrams

You can pay for a year and get access to alldata diy to see wiring diagrams. I think its $60 for a year.

This may be something that can be done in software, I think there's a crack for sync 3 that allows this.

Does the camera stay on when moving forward more than 40 mph? I remember it not working when I experimented with that mod.

will test today. from what i’ve heard it solely depends on your vehicle year, whether they implemented that for safety or not. i’ll let you know later

so yes the camera does turn off once moving fast enough forward. for me it was actually around 15-20
