Hey all,
My car recently started making a groaning/creaking noise when I turn the wheel to the right at low speeds (or while stationary). The noise does not appear when I return the wheel to center nor does it make any noises when going over bumps or road imperfections. It sounds exactly like this:
The individual who posted that video says it ended up being the lower control arm. Would you agree with this fix and if so, would anyone happen to know what part number I would need to order in order to replace it? I tried looking for it on Ford's website but it seems to come as an assembly and I'm not sure what's what.
Also, I'm freshly out of the 3 year/36k warranty (of course) so I can't just take it to a dealer.
