Hey Guy.
Recently i took the 5.0 in for evap coil repair and they also replaced the intake manifold as well as throttle body as part of another repair for a noise they heard. I have an aftermarket JLT CAI and they didn't say anything about that which was good.
Issue is i just recently opened the hood up to clean and detail it and noticed that the " vacuum line" has been capped and no longer runs to the "engine/manifold"
i did some research and found that mustangs built after 9/16 no longer need that line. yet. mine is a 2015 GT.
I understand that the intake manifold might be a newer version but it makes me wonder if other parts of the assembly need to be replaced in order to accommodate the new manifold. The car runs fine and no CEL popped up so i assume its all okay but just some food for thought wanted to get some opinions on the matter.
