Same whine on my GT 10Speed. Seems to be mostly between 1200 and 2500 RPM. Car runs fine... Sounds kind of nice actually... Any 6Speeds with the noise or is it only on the Autos?
Seems its mostly happening in High Humidity Locations. and the mileage is not a factor... I had it go bad @ 32k miles in Central Florida a day after our first 90+ degree day....
Mullinax of apopka is hit or miss... AC repair went Perfect. Door latch was the opposite. they asked me to take it back for them to "fix the problems" but i am questioning if its better fixing it on my own.
Had mine replaced. I am also getting a lot more wind noise now as well as the door trim and area where window buttons are is missing a few of the blue clips. had to order new ones from china.... They did it without warning took it in for evap coil replacements and they did the latches...
Hey Guy.
Recently i took the 5.0 in for evap coil repair and they also replaced the intake manifold as well as throttle body as part of another repair for a noise they heard. I have an aftermarket JLT CAI and they didn't say anything about that which was good.
Issue is i just recently...
I get no honks at all it simply wont work. They asked me to take both key fobs in tomorrow to get it re set then.
as far as pricing for the Ac evap coil my said it was a $2,200 job. I am not sure why such a difference but i would ask them to price match the 1300 to anyone doing it out of pocket
Just went through the paperwork and every total is set to n/a and or 0 but there are 5 pages worth of "repairs". I am assuming the total of 2890.00 at the bottom corner is based on Evap + Door latch + Thumping noise diagnostic + Loaner ? When i drop off the car again tomorrow ill ask them for...
ill look at the paperwork see where the money is coming from... since it was covered i didn't even think about the price tag but if someone payed 1300 that's a huge issue.
Here is a Short run through of what my experience with the AC evap was
(I live in central Florida) (car had 35200 miles at time of service) (5.0 base GT Automatic)
Day 1. Car turned on took forever to cool.
Day 2. Car Cooled Passenger side only at first then about 20 - 30 mins in it started...
Loosen up both bolts and move as required to make it line up. Had the same issue and just loosened both bolts and aligned the plate and good to go. :headbang:
So i recently purchased an AMR staggered tire wheel kit from AM... The price was great. the wheels looked great... and it was AM always thought of them as a Solid company....
Unfortunately After receiving the wheels you could tell that there was slim to no quality control at their...
As i stated Before. The Grille Looks fantastic! It is by far the best i have seen aside from the GT350.... But you have to work for it...
I agree that some might not find it as difficult to install but from a grille installation point of view.. it is the most challenging i have ever done. I...
Love how it looks But it is a PAIN! to install. The best thing to do is use tape to set it in the place and line it up as best as possible then drill and install all the screws.
The instructions and drilling location tool that were provided were honestly very hard to follow... the tool never...
