Just traded in my 2013 V6 Mustang Club of America Edition, for a 2015 V6, auto, 051a, 3.55. The 2013 was dropped one inch, and had a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust. No changes under the hood.
To say I am impressed with the new V6 is an understatement. Though the 2015 V6 is available only as a base model, I find the interior more attractive and comfortable than the Premium ’13, cloth seats and all.
Stock, the 2015 ride is firmer and more planted than the ’13, and it’s just seems a lot faster low end. All around, I find it much superior to the old model. Beside all that, it’s a really great looking car. Bravo Ford.

It isn't fair that you can't get the Concrete color seats in the V6. Would it hurt Ford to let you have light color seats?

First off congrats and welcome to the V6 club. Check out the V6 section of the site. There's a thread with a stock dyno which explains what you're feeling with the car. It makes more torque down low compared to before. The '11 didn't hit 250 wheel torque until 4k rpm but now it's exceeding that at 2.5k rpm.

Did you test drive both 3.15 and 3.55?

My 2013 Auto had a 2.73 rear end. The difference going to 3.55 is a night and day thing.

Congrats on the purchase! I've drove several older 3.7s in the last year and I liked them. Was (probably still will) going to get an ecoboost but I keep hearing great things about the new 6. I'm going to drive the 6 and turbo 4 this weekend. Can't wait.

I drove them both and liked the V6 better overall. The 4 definitely had a stronger low end, but I didn't care for the powerband or the sound of it.

Welcome to the 15 V6 club! It really is a nice ride and I've found that I can't take my eyes off when walking to or away from her.

I definitely would've chosen the V6 if they had offered the same options as the EB and GT.

As it stands now, "if" I go through with a purchase, it'll the the EB. I like the plush interior of the Premium and Nav is also a must! I've always loaded my cars with just about every option available. Looks like Ford purposely limited the V6 to force more orders for the EB, and in my case, it worked,,,.

I like the V6. I wish I had the self confidence to go that route. I keep thinking I'd regret it or be envious of the V8. Not that I can afford either mind you.

The V6 is a great choice! I intend to upgrade mine over time and as my wallet allows. That's the fun.. It will be like having a new car for years to come lol
