Hey everyone. I’m looking for a stock clutch assist spring.
I have a manual 2015 GT with a 35lb Steeda spring that I daily drive. Last month I hurt my knee. Now after I drive, my knee swells up like a grapefruit (Orthopedic follow up tomorrow) Does anyone have a stock spring for sale?
Thanks in advance

Isn't the Steeda spring easier to use? My assumption would be that the Steeda spring is better for your knee than the stock spring. By all means, tell me if I am missing something.

you’re missing something.

stock assist spring is heavy. It assists a lot, resulting pedal effort is very light.

aftermarket (or no assist spring) are light, they assist very little (or none), pedal effort is heavy (but clutch feel is improved). The aftermarket springs make the pedal feel heavier but you can feel the engagement point better.

Got it! Thanks for clearing that up!
