Looks like they took details off a New Edge Mustang and slapped them on the new style. So far the Saleen and Roush special editions just seem to be taking old ideas without truly incorporating them into the new, sleeker style.

I think Ford hit a home run with a new design to the extent that these attempts to improve upon it have made it look worse, rather than better.

Agreed, the designers for roush follow the same boring formula for their cars decade after decade. Slap on side skirts, big door and sill scoops, and all the usual things a ricer would get made fun of for and that seems to be the extent of their creativity.

The new fastback style is too sleek for all these pointless addons.

These pictures do confirm for me though that the rear end will look way better with that center filler panel emblem removed.

I had originally ordered a Ruby Red GT Premium on 6/3, with the intention of having it sent directly to Roush for stage 2 mod. Now that I see what Roush is offering for the 2015, I've changed my mind. I hate the lower part of the front grill/fascia and I don't like the "blackout" of the tail end with ROUSH plastered across it. So today I went back to my dealer and re-ordered. Still getting the RR GT Premium, but now I'm adding the 50 anniversary appearance package. I really like those wheels and the chrome accents. It's for my 50th birthday(my justification anyway :-)), so it's what I should have done in the first place. If he can't get my original order changed so that I keep my place in line with a build date of 10/26, then it will really delay things for me, but better to get what I really want!

Roush 2015

If you could choose in the future which parts you would like to purchase by Roush for your 2015 Mustang, what would they be?

1. All?

2. None?

3. Certain parts?

My choice's would be...

1. The Brake Rotos.

2. The Wheels.

3. The Exhaust W/ Rear Valence.

4. The Hood Heat Extractors.

5. Possibly the SuperCharger, over the Whipple, only if the Strut Tower Brace fits over the Roush.

The fogs were not an after thought...look at the lines.

It's big and open to get air over the intercooler for the supercharged car.

Another little tid-bit for anyone interested -- you may notice something unique about the space between the front tire and fascia in regards to those outer pockets.

Let's be honest about it. The front end looks like a lot like an aftermarket kit.

Rousch makes a better, badder mustang no doubt. But this model has a horrible front end. And if air was a concern, the stock location would have been better served.

That said, I oubt we will see a better spoiler on any version. Great wheels. The minimalist taillight bar is nice as well. But contrasts badly with the front and side scoops. Hopefully they get some forward thinking designers to improve next years model.

rousch has the know how. But the vision seems to be missing this year. Tried to tie the new car into last gen a little too much.

Couldn't have said it better myself. And the side scoops look so odd on this new body style.

All scoops are optional deletes

Also, the correct spelling is Roush -- though it is pronounced more like how you spelled it.

Respectfully! I'm not so sure about the fog light placement. It looks like they of course wanted to put them somewhere, it's my opinion that, that particular car is equiped with the ACC Adaptive Cruise Control, which has that alternate grill without the double fangs. Which lends itself for a good location because of the two flat spots on either side.

I was wondering about the large open areas where the stock car has it's fog lights. There is a good front shot that shows them. At first look they look like big air and bug catchers, they don't show any light behind them.

So I was thinking they were maybe brake cooling???

The stock car has slits that you can see through for braking up the air turbulance around the tires.

Whats your guess on what this area is for?

Minimalist taillight bar? Please explain.

I did zoom in and see that the front wheels are 275/35/ R20's any guesses on the rer size?

interesting to see the different stages for the new Roush..very surprised they're still going to do the "RS" for the 3.7....and I'm guessing the RS3 will be equipped with an SC?
