Im not sure if this will help anyone else but I just sketched out some basic wheel widths and offsets in Solidworks that I have see people use to get a better idea of what the range is on some of this. I did this mostly because I want to put a S197 18" wheel with a +30 offset on my car for a winter wheel and wanted to see where that fell in this range. It looks like a 18x9 +30 will actually make a really good winter wheel size.

Note that im not getting into tire size or wheel dia specifics.

Anyway Maybe it helps someone else.
Hi UglyMutt,

Jim from Australia.

I've just signed up for a set of the Project 6GR wheels and was worried about the fitment.

This has helped me a lot - thanks very much!

Cheers!

I can verify the 20" foundry wheels with tires are 66lbs. My new setup is right at 50lbs each. The difference is noticeable but I need gears 3.31s are not ideal with 27.6" tall tires.

This may be a dumb question but will the gt pp wheels fit on a base gt? I've read in another forum post that 5mm spacers are needed but from the info on here it should fit fine.

The post where spacers were needed was a square d setup with the rear gt pp wheels on the front. Is there any fit our performance issues with pouting pp wheels on a base gt?

Anybody know the widest size tires that can fit on the PP wheels without needing adjustment? I had put 275s on my 14 GT with Brembos without issue, which were 19x9, so that should work for the front, what about the back? Maybe 295 or 305? Anybody with an up-sized staggered setup that works well?

So if I want to go to 9.5" all around I need spacers at the front?

What if I want to go to 10" all around. Can I do that? If so, what offsets would I need?

Thanks,

Hello all,

Hopefully quick question. I'm trying to get a set of winter wheels/tires for my 15 Gt. I have the 265/35R20's on now, I was thinking about getting 18x9" wheels and 235/50R18 Michelin Xi3 tires. Will this swap work, from what I can tell everything should be fine, but just wanted to check with the knowledgeable group. Thanks!

Is it possible to fit the rear PP rims on the front of a PP car? Does it need a 7mm spacer? Does anyone make a spacer for this?

5 mm spacer is all you need, 7 mm is too much

Good evening fellow enthusiast. If you are in need of any size spacer, please don't hesitate to contact us. We have been providing custom solid billet aluminum spacers for over a decade. Our local machine shop is able to manufacturer any custom size spacer, adapter, and hub rings. His turnaround time is only a few working days and prices are very reasonable.
