22whp 27wrtq gains here. While tunes can be improved 22whp to 50whp is going to require more than just retuning on an NA motor it's going to require more airflow.

If the dyno is reading low, that 50Hp gain is actually more than 50 Hp..
Doesn't really matter how you look at it, the claim being made by that dyno is that the car now has an extra 13-14% Hp at the rear wheels.
I agree. The whole thing does feel a little off.

The 350whp run is bogus there is no way. Baseline dyno 393 whp on their same dyno. 50whp gains with long tubes, cai, catback and tune which are normal gains.

Ha, I remember anothony's dyno's and was actually just coming on to look for those vids to see what his baseline was.

Something definitely seems off here. I guess the dyno could have been re-calibrated or something between then and now. But ya, the tune improving that much on a NA vehicle - seems unlikely.

I ve found the solution where the 50 whp is coming from.

They paired up their tune with the Gibson catback exhaust, 20 whp from the tune and 30 whp from Gibson:D

Great thread. Anyone know of any good dyno shops in the NorCal North-Bay Area?
AED in Shingle Springs. It's next to Sacramento.

I know many people tuned there and they do a fantastic job. Once I get my longtubes installed i'm going there

We just wanted to step in and discuss some of the concerns/comments/questions about the gains seen on our tuning. Firstly, this car was brought to us right from the dealer floor with 93 octane in it. We do our baselines properly, meaning in 5th (on a manual), and with the intended use fuel already in it. If a car had 87 on the baseline, we note that as it can definitely impact results, just as we note if a car had modifications on a baseline run. When looking at our older videos, take note that they were all done in STD correction The updated tune results are in SAE, which definitely explains the lower baseline numbers compared to our older posts. Additionally, the video that was posted of "Anthony's" Mustang is one of the highest baselines ever seen on our dyno for these cars. Look at these other videos below.

As you can see, there are a wide array of baselines, but if all of these were SAE instead of STD now this new one would fall more in the middle of these. The correction method plays a part in the end result too. So, whether SAE or STD, the gains are the same. In fact, we used to always post our dyno results in STD for this exact reason, people always claimed our dyno numbers were too low on SAE. Our dynos do read lower than most other Dynojets. We have even had people run their car on our Dynojet the same day as someone else's Mustang dyno, and our Dynojet actually read lower.

All in all, what this shows our continual improvement shining through. We are always trying to develop ways to make our offerings better than before, and these are just the results of continuing to work on perfecting what we do.

@LivernoisMotorsports how come someoone claimed that he got contacted about an updated tune and I was not? Does this apply to flex fuel tune too? Thanks

With our tuning, it's a request basis for updates typically. We always make posts about them to spread the word as it has lent itself to be the most effective method for getting people to migrate to the newest offerings. Many people ignore emails, and to spend time calling every customer would take likely close to a week with multiple people doing it. so, posts seem to be the best option for releases. As for flex fuel updates, this would apply as well since the 93 performance tune is the core foundation for the flex fuel tune.

Yep, 375-380 seems to be the norm for a stock M6.

Yep, 375-380 seems to be the norm for a stock M6.
and when we were in STD correction, 365-385 was the range we deemed typical, with of course some that were more, and some that were less. But, on SAE correction, those numbers drop of course. so now the norm on our dyno will likely be more in the area of 355-375.
