Not sure if my Race Red Convertible heading for Florida was included but I`m really surprised that Ruby Red Metallic so far has edged out Race Red? Just like with a Ferrari Coupe or Convertible with the Yellow Horse on the front fender, Race Red or Ruby Red? Mustang = Race Red, IMO.

the only part i find confusing is that there were retail orders in may that received Vin numbers. that's kinda baffling i had no idea anyone got one until like august with like 2 lucky people got theirs.

Yep, all of these VINs were given on the same day, 9/25.

All of the discussions about getting (and not getting) VINs is what prompted me to do this. Just to show that they didn't completely skip over the early May and June orders.

So.. I was wondering what it would look like if you correlated people that received vin numbers by state. Just curious if there is a pattern there.

Here ya go! But probably not enough info to see any patterns. I'm up to 182 cars now and 33 states... welcome Iowa! The four Retail orders that don't have a state are military orders, and COTUS doesn't show dealer info for those.

I also added the updated list showing the months with the 182 cars.

I notice of the 7 states with 10 or more orders. The warm weather states(CA,TX,AZ,FL) have 60 to 80 percent scheduled where the cooler weather states(IL,PA,NJ) have around 20 to 30% scheduled.

C'mon Ford they can drive theirs year round, we got the white stuff coming on fast. ;)
