I've always wanted a GoPro plus there are some nice areas around DC.
Which you can only get to if you leave before 5 AM or after 10 PM. That area is nuts traffic wise. I defy anyone to keep their sanity on I-95 between DC and Richmond.

I do that drive pretty regularly; it's never too terrible. Of course, I'm used to driving on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway every day, so...

Looked at Ford custom order tracking today looks like my vehicle is currently "in production" it was scheduled for the week of 7.28.14 I don't know if this means they are ahead of schedule or what. Very happy to see that regardless.

Perhaps the components allocated to it are in production, and the vehicle assembly takes place next week?

I placed an order for a GT premium on June 25. It's still in order processing with no VIN. Anyone getting VIN or production status with an order date on or after that date?

Is COTUS down? I can't seem to get a page to come up for any of the various beta/regular versions.

fiveliter...when did you order. My order was in the system on June 10th and I still don't have a VIN. It still shows order processing.

Congrats! You do realize it will be sitting for weeks at the plant holding area though. Probably won't ship till begging of Sep at the earliest.

I do realize this. From my understanding they need five build cycles to go without a hitch before the car can be released for sale. any car that is built before the five perfect cycles will need to be "repaired" one by one by mechanics and engineers at the plant.

My order is a "stock unit" it is my understanding that customer ordered cars will be built later.

Here is what I have I blanked out the Vin Order number and Dealer info. A little bit paranoid about having that stuff online. but I checked this morning when I get into work and this is what I got off Cotsub.
It appears that the VIN number you attempted to blank out is a preproduction vehicle. I can make out the 1FA6P8CF0F5299 portion of the VIN which marks it as preproduction.

Further investigation:

This appears to be the full VIN: 1FA6P8CF0F5299589
This is the Order Number: 9574
This is the Ordered On date (as seen in your screen shot): 04/09/2014
There is no dealer info on COTUS

This is the window sticker for this car: http://www.cotus.ford.com/services/inventory/WindowSticker?vin=1FA6P8CF0F5299589

This is definitely preproduction, not for sale.

Note to all: the original post has be modified to remove the screen shot of the order page.

Your sequence number (the last 5 digits) begins with 299. If it were a salable car, the sequence number of the VIN would begin with 5... for LE's and 3... for everything else.
