Anybody can play with MS Word and Powerpoint

Hell, look at all the photo mods people are doing... I find that any digital media on here is unreliable until your own dealer contacts you with info or its just a media blitz and see it on the news..... don't trust these forums!!
I don't have the time or reason to create a fake pic, ok ?

If you have an iphone , PM me your number and I'll show you through FaceTime live on screen that bulletin from Ford.

With that said ,like Mustangchief said above , these dates are all guidelines for Ford and not 100% set in stone.

Lastly, if you don't trust these forums , then why the hell are you even here ?

Ya'all have to quit whipping the pony. I posted earlier how production will be starting. Don't read into dates too much, they are ETICs(Estimated Time of Completion...note Estimated), production managers like to hit or beat them, but sometimes they slip due to unforeseen problems. I have waited many years for this Mustang and spent a lot of time managing production in the past. It isn't exact(but close), don't get pitch forks out to jab folks. The entire process is huge from the glass house down to the dealerships. There are hundreds of people who have to be choreographed to get you a car. I don't care where you work, look at the logistics behind getting you supplies and service if you need it. Now, look at Ford and all of their product lines, it's an amazing feat to get so many pieces working in harmony to crank out many cars a day. I used to tell the production guys who worked for me "Slow is steady, steady is fast" Meaning you start slow, make fewer mistakes, pass QC hurdles and before you know it your going faster than if you actually tried to go fast in the first place and turn out a better product. When your customer demands faster and you change your process by cutting corners and decreasing safety, you fail, your customer and your investor/owner.:amen:
Excellent points, all.

The other thing to consider: Until our cars get here, guys will be arguing non-stop about build dates, trying to parse meanings out from a sentence or two of random information, worrying about production schedules, debating about who is the most accurate source of information, etc. :frusty:

For probably 90-95 percent of the buyers, the day you get your new Mustang, you will forget about all the angst and just start enjoying your cars.

We know the new Mustangs are coming.

I'm as eager to get mine as the next guy, but I'm not going to tie my stomach in knots or beat my head against the wall sweating about the exact delivery date. :headbonk:

It gets here when it gets here and I will enjoy the heck out of it when that day comes.

There seems to be many dealers on here. Do these bulletins not get sent to everyone at the same time? I'm just surprised that guys like Five Oh Brian were not able to verify it yet.

I'm not doubting that this is real, in fact I believe it is, but just wondering do different dealers get different info from Ford?

As others posted, due to the complexities of all this I'm sure they are estimates regardless, but just asking out of curiosity.

To FiveOhBrian ( and any others at dealerships) :

when you log into fmcdealer, on the search field , put in 2015 Mustang.
Then when the list shows up, click on the top right button to sort by date.
Click on the first or second or third article and viola, you will find the Mustang info there. :)

From my Dealer after I asked about a VIN#:

From our Ford Rep. They have started scheduling the LE's very recently for other regions. All I can do at this point is assure you that he has told me that your Mustang is #1 priority in our region.

Additionally, he said that you could expect your vehicle to arrive sometime in November...but please keep in mind with factory builds delivery dates can vary depending on factory delays. I will most certainly keep you up to date as I receive more information.

Thanks for expanding on what I was trying to say. It is logistics basically. I would call it "ramp-up". The NFL has preseason. MLB has Spring Training. I'm looking at the 7/14 date like everyone is showing up after the off-season and now there is a new playbook they have to use for this season. Then 8/11 will be "opening day" when they kick into building cars for the "regular season". And yes I understand the dates are fluid. But for those of us with cars on order or just fans this is an exciting time and you can understand our excitement. I'll use my sports analogy again. People love talking sports in the off season. That is why a lot of us are here. And I've said this and will say it again, does anyone on this site really think they get this excited about the minutiae on say a Honda Fit forum or a Buick Encore forum? Those things don't even exist because they are as boring as Hell and nobody cares. The Mustang has/was/will be a visceral, emotional and enthusiastic car that will elicit the same from its following.

These are good times friends. :)

^^^ This ^^^ :clap2::thumbsup:
Thanks. And I am grateful for the little bits of information and insight that are provided and shared from those who are privy to that information and/or are in the industry. It gives me a connection and lets me know that people truly care about turning out a exceptional product.

This is just flat out fun and when it hits the streets it will be THAT MUCH BETTER!!! :)

Patience. I respect mykrrr's position. The guy has already shared with us that he works at Flat Rock Assembly Plant and I'm sure the dude wants to keep his job. Non-Disclosure Agreements are serious business.

Having said all that, the stuff the guy CAN share - he's sharing. No need to grab the pitchforks and torches. Bottom line is NOBODY is gonna get a scoop until the Ford Motor Company decides. It would be ludicrous to think that they are new to this, they do this, this is what they do.
Thank you. It's not top secret info as we all know the car is being built and most of the specs on it. I just don't like when people on forums spout crap they don't know and play it off as fact. Like the S550 chassis is just a massaged S197.

I could have posted all about me seeing S550 front and rear fascias 1.5 years ago but I didn't. THAT would have gotten me fired.

MP1 (Mass Production) is next week. MP2 aka J1 is in August.

You fanboys satisfied now??? :gossip: :p

I'm just spitballing here but I would guess with the workers coming back to FRAP after their break and with production of the 2014's being over that they are going to start the slow transition into producing the 2015's starting on 7/14. I would think they would need training, demonstrations then finally start rolling a few down the line as "cutting their teeth" cars. I could see where this entire process would take the nearly 4 weeks until the 8/11 Job 1 date shown earlier. Its not like they can step in there and start cranking out Mustangs like nothing changed. By 8/11 I would think they would be ready to start full scale production. Again this is just my guesses but from looking at all this information (for which I'm grateful, I like hearing this insider stuff) I'd say I'm pretty close.

I just tried this (again) and cannot find the doc you posted. Not doubting that you found it, but I can't find it. FMCdealer is not exactly easy to navigate or search, IMO, and I've been doing it for 15 years.

Once you sorted the search results by "modified date" , what was the top PDF file you saw ? :)

I didn't know MP2 was considered Job 1, always thought it was MP1. Learn something new every day :)

I guess that Aug 11th date is still in effect.

Thanks for the info BTW.
