I was in the dealership yesterday, 5/18, and he showed me where the order bank will open on Tuesay, 5/20. We made an appointment for 6PM to order my EcoBoost Premium Mustang. He also said $500 would be the down payment and that he would accept X-Plan (Mustang Club of America.)

Don't forget to check back tomorrow and let us know how that went. I live in Philadelphia in the tristate area and none of the dealers- some of whom are the biggest volume dealers in the nation are aware of the order banks opening tomorrow. Including Ted Britt of Va, who was accepting orders for the 50th. So I'm curious to see how that works out for you.

The S197's started MY05, the '06's had that passenger side leak into the floorboard.

I had an 06 and it didnt happen to me. But I was one of the lucky ones I suppose lol

Oops, never came back to update everyone. I was able to order that EB4 Ruby Red on 5/20. Sat down at 5:55 PM, out the door at 6:30. Did you get yours wilson?

I'm thinking that we probably will, but not 100% certain. FordService told me that we would be getting them "in a couple weeks" 2 - 3 weeks ago.

Same here - I owned a 2006 GT for 3 years and never experienced any type of leaks.

The order sheets I see on here are not even the same as the one I saw at my dealer ... on this forum I see is 5/20 but at my dealer I saw the date of 5/23, my order was placed on 5/24

I was about to say...lol. I never posted an order number...lol. Yeah, it's ordered, in the system with my sales guy name on it and dealer... it was there the next day I ordered it when I actually checked it

That's good! Yeah, sorry about that. I remembered seeing your name tied to his order somehow in my head and it wasn't until I went back that I saw you replied to his comment with the order page. I remembered seeing the order number as 9999 and thought: Yeah, that's not good. Hope he eventually caught on to that. haha

I never had a doubt.... lol. The sales guy I ordered from was one of only two people to place vehicle orders and came highly recommended from a co worker that had dealings with him for almost 2 decades :-) I see a ton of people over anxious for their cars and can't wait but the wait gives me opportunity to plan some finances and tap some. The planning seems to be the hardest part skimming here and there, it will be tight for me until I get the summer toy paid off so playing with options... I need another stiff drink

You sound like me on this. I'm scrimping and paying off extra bills that I used to help build up my credit so I can get my income/debt ratio back down before I take delivery. I've already gained about 50 points in the last year, and hope to get close to another 50 before I pick this baby up.

Yeah, I think it will be a little harder paying off the jetski but the other two can be elliminated, Just gotta find my deployment papers from 2010 so I drop a few hundred on discover(bastards) planning on trying to put at least 6k down either trade in or tapping 401k since it is a little redundant that I will be collecting military retirement long before 401k even though I still have another flippin18 years to survive and start collecting...lol unless it changes to where I wait less that being the case would be only 8... not holding my breath
