Placed my order last night. Guard GT Premium, premium trim, navigation, and spoiler delete. Now I get to enjoy the wait that so many others have done (are doing).

Cheers!

I put "Found VIN" on my signature because I just looked at COTUS yesterday and that's when I found my VIN, but I got my corrected VOC (Vehicle Order Confirmation) on 12/17/14.

I didn't look at COTUS before because I honestly didn't think the VIN would appear that quickly, but when I had the time, I looked, and I hit up @FordService on Twitter, and they had DM-ed me the update and the VIN.

My car shows up in both COTUS and Etis right now, by the way, but there is no Build Date set-- as I have learned from reading this board, they put in a placeholder date (30.11.0002) until the build date is determined, which will be in January sometime.

So *my* daily watch begins! :headbonk:  LOL!

I had the car built at the dealership on 12/13/14.
Was able to beat X-plan and had them throw in 3 oil changes with tire rotation, all weather mats, and an additional year of SYNC Services all at no additional charge.
Order date 12/17/14
Discovered my VIN on COTUS on 12/19/14
Never imagined it would show up that fast!
What's on order:
Mustang GT Premium
Magnetic
Manual Trans.
20" Wheel Package
Premium trim w/color accent Package
Equip. Group 400A
Also on order is factory hood and side panel stripes (black)

That's great that you were able to swing that!

Here in the ATX (that's the Austin, Texas, metro area, for the uninitiated), every dealer is selling *V6s* & *Ecoboosts* for MSRP or more, and some (Mac Haik Ford - Georgetown) wouldn't even take X-Plan, so the salesman I got to accept X-Plan claimed his sales manager was ticked at him for telling me he'd accept X-Plan in the first place, and if the whole world found out about X-Plan that they'd be in trouble. Take that with some salt, because that could just be a story--- but no one around in the Austin area budging on their MSRP prices (or more) seems to substantiate this.

So, I'll take my X-Plan ($50 to MCA well-spent) and whatever incentives fall into my mailbox in brochures or from Ford (email, calling them near my EDD, and whatever promotion is going at the time) and I'll be doing better than most everyone else in my part of the world.

Glad to hear you were able to get X-plan. That's so much better than MSRP. I think part of the reason i was able to get a good deal was for two reasons. 1. I started talking to my salesman about 3 months before ordering. I would drop in at the dealership every one or two weeks to see if they had any new Mustangs. Told him I wanted to see all the colors and interiors. So, i wanted to build this rapport with him. And 2. Other dealers here in Northeast Oklahoma were willing to allow the X-plan so he knew i could go to any nearby dealer and get the same deal. So that in itself would obligate him to drop his price if he wanted the sale. Anyway, that's how it went down for me.

Wow I don't feel so bad now. My order went in on the 18th of this month and still no update on COTUS. I know it is probably due to the holidays but that really sucks that your order was placed over a month ago and still don't have a vin. Hopefully you hear something soon.

OMG. I haven't check cotus since x-mas figured there would be no changes. I just checked and now it says my car was ordered on 12/3 instead of 11/12. WTF. Everytime I order a mustang something always goes wrong. I ordered a 10 march 17 of 09 and it came in July 23. I told myself then like before I would never order another one and I still do. Something is wrong with me.

Was looking at Ford Build site for the 2015 Mustang GT Premium fastback yesterday (1/05/14) and noticed that they raised the base price by $200.00. It was $36,100 and is now $36,300.
