Not necessarily. Priority codes are dealer-specific, not universal. 13 does NOT mean that everyone in the country with codes 10-12 gets built before you. It means that every car your dealer has ordered with a 10-12 DOES get built before you.

Right now they are prioritizing retail orders, so you have that in your favor, but you need to know if your dealer has any allocation available. Sounds like he might not, since others are sailing from order to VIN in a few days and into production in less than a month. (Hard to watch while I sit here at Day 105 of my journey, but that's another story.)
So now the allocation is the problem. The dealer I went to is indeed small, and probably wasn't selling a lot of Mustangs in the past. Guess realistically if I want to get a car before next Jan is to either buy a stock or cancel this order and redo at a larger dealer that has allocation.

I need to find a dealer that is willing to get me a stock car at Xplan price... one told me they could only do xplan to special orders, coz Mustang is so hot now...

Recent orders have been generating VINs in just a few days, and are being delivered in 6 weeks or so. It can happen, if you are a retail order and your dealer has allocation.

Thank you...so I'll call the dealer tomorrow and put a fire in their butt for movement. It will be a full week tomorrow. Ample time for a VIN.

I called my dealer found out that my car is scheduled to be scheduled. They said it should come out on next Tuesday with a vin but my only confusion is I thought vins only come out on cotus on Thursdays?

If anyone here is selling off 18" factory wheels, let me know… snow's coming soon out here in PA, and no manufacturers seem to be selling 18s that fit the 2015's new 14mm (vs previous 12mm) wheel studs yet.

Tony,

I am sure you were able to get them to submit it as priority 01, and time will pass quickly. My replacement was entered on October 15th and has been progressing fast. I have an expected delivery date of 11/21.

Hopefully our collective frustration will soon be behind us from May 21st original orders to where we stand today.

Hang in there, and hope you get a quick turn around on your replacement!

I got a VIN today, so that's good movement. Hopefully the optional 18" wheels (641) constraint doesn't persist too much - that's the next hurdle, I think. My logical side (having no car payment because my 2010 will be paid off soon) is taking over rapidly :)

Congrats.

The priority and order type are located on the DORA. You need to ask the dealer for a copy.

I' have the same request for the GT PP 19" set, contact me via a private message if any of you intend to ditch your factory wheels, I'd be interested in buying them. At least one set of them... Thanks!

Try contacting MellowYellow06 in this forum, he just put custom rims on his GT PP in the last day or two. I was just posting about it in the thread tonight.

I just found this post while looking for options on how to track my car. I ordered a 15 Magnetic GT Premium on October 20th from my local dealer. I want to thank everyone for the advice and stories they've shared. I'm going to get my order number from the dealer on Monday and start tracking on COTUS.

Question; When I was talking to the GM at my dealer he mentioned that he was currently filling out his November/December allocation... this was on October 10th, so do they all operate in two month cycles?

I got one of his last two slots for November and December is what he said, if this is true, then people ordering now wont get builds until January, unless the cycles overlap like November/December followed by December/January.... or is this thought process out to lunch?
