Shouldn't xplan be the same? or do different dealers get different invoice price? I ordered the 400a in guard with 20in alum rims no there options and my xplan was 35,000 even i have seen on other forums people below and over this..

There is one line item that varies be dealer (likely because of the part of the geographic region) - the dealer advertising fee. Since the X-plan pricing includes a discount factor off this variable number, you will see different X-plan prices.

Take a look at this very helpful pricing spreadsheet that one of the members put together.

Yeah spread sheet came out to 36,032.99 They charged me 561 for adv assessment and 57.60 fuel charge and 825 dest and deliv and that all comes out to 36,032,99 with the 20 in alum rims but they put on the invoice and signed it that they would do 35,000 even for me oh well at least its in my favor. :clap2:

Hello everyone,
I been reading for about two months, first time posting (love the site and it's been really helpful finding out about x-plan). I ordered mine Friday and his doing it as a inventory car for the dealer so I would get it first. One thing I'm worried about is the x-plan pricing. His not 100% about it but thinks I should be able to do it since they do it with other cars at that dealership.
What does everyone think about getting a first batch car? is it a good idea or should I change my order to be under my name and on second batch. I ask because I used to work at the BMW plant for the X-5 and Z4 (now they do X-6 and X-3 there I think) and when we switch to a new year production car they all had tons of issues... I guess I'm scare to get a first batch car and have issues with it. is it like this with Ford too?

99 is not inventory stock I don't think I found this on another forum and I think it has been posted here several times

"The codes start at 1 and run to 99. A dealer can only assign between 10 and 99. A 99 order can't be schuduled. I use these for people that tell me to get them a unit on date (later than normal orders take). I put in a 99'd order so I have what they wanted in the system and don't forget about it and then change it to a buildable priority when time comes they're ready for the truck. The region (or other Ford divisions) can prioritize below 10, I've only seen a 01 priority below 10. They do this in the event of something unusual, most orders never see a priority 01. An example is if they're manually scheduling (like the First F-150 for each dealer, or first year T Birds) or if its something that needs to be urgent (first order destroyed in shipping, etc). Again I normally only see this a few times a year. Also if you do get a priority 01, things usually get scheduled fast even if you have some hard to get commodities (but not hold items). More on commodities later. I believe that the under 10 priority go first through the allocation system."

Others that work with ford can probably answer you better but my line of thought on it would be that he should already be able to order it as if it was a inventory item for him. I do think that gets it slightly quicker from what I have read. I know that once you get your vin the priority number no longer matters.

With X plan at first all the dealers were telling me x plan pricing wasn't available for them to view yet but they would accept it but just didn't know what it would be. I wasn't putting a deposit and signing anything with MSRP on it. Once I told them what it should be according to here each of them talked to someone else and confirmed that they could figure it out by using the formula then the dealer I had bought my 2011 and 2013 from was able to beat that price. Plus you get your DORA sheet to look at for the next several months.

I got my car loaded but I didn't get adaptive cruise control because I didn't see the point. I've never used it in my life in automatics let alone manuals. Although the blind spot warning/lane departure would have been helpful. Didn't find it worth the jump in price to 401A. Just my opinion of course.

I'm actually going back and forth on the whole adaptive cruise control/collision mitigation thing still... I agree that I probably wouldn't use it much. But I was reading someone here justifying why they got it themselves (ie: if the collision system saves you even once it was worth the add). Which I somewhat agree with.

I noticed that certain cars seem to have the radar for the adaptive cruise control visible on the exterior... Such as the picture of the Honda Accord I have below. Does anyone here have a Ford vehicle with the adaptive cruise/collision? Do they tuck it behind the grill or is it visible like the Honda?

As for 401A - I definitely wanted the upgraded speakers, HD radio, and BLIS. So I have no regrets about that.

Anyways I have at least until Tuesday to change my mind since my dealer isn't putting in the order until then. So I'll have to sleep on it for a bit.

When I first ordered my Mustang, on 5/20, the rep gave me Order No: 0001 and Priority: 99. On the way out he told me that he didn't do the orders, but handed the temporary Vehicle Order Confirmation (what he gave me) to someone else who did all the ordering for the dealership. I called back the next day and was given my correct Order No: B001 and Priority:11. Since I didn't see a new VOC, and it wasn't showing up on the http://www.cotusb.ford.com/ website, I called Mustang Customer Support the following day and they verified that they could see my order.

I would just follow up with your rep and ask him for the new Order Number and Priority.

It is a standalone option. But you need to order a Ecoboost Premium or GT Premium package for it to be an option. Basically you need to have the Ford MyTouch system in place. Seems like we're basically paying for a GPS sensor and a software program for MyTouch.

Since you ordered a V6 the navigation won't be an option.

Got my 2015 Mustang GT premium ordered on 5/24 with 401a pkg, performance pkg, enhanced security in ingot silver and ebony leather interior all for 39097 not including the rebates for Ford military appreciation or any other rebates available at time of delivery also using the x plan. 500 refundable deposit, I can't wait!! The only thing I wont able to get was the spoiler (delete) but was reassured I could get one after market available at the dealer... perhaps a saleen spoiler? The one on the 2015 is a simple raised decklid spoiler which you really can't see much of anyways

Thanks....Man! That's not cool. Oh well. Now I'm looking around and I hope my order number 9999 and priority 10. Is a good order. Some guys here say they can't find it on the ford order page. Maybe I should call ford.
