I've talked to 3 dealers today and they all said non refundable deposit only. And two of them told me they aren't expecting them until November or December...

If you are in NE Florida, call Roger Scott at Autonation in Jacksonville (904-588-5707). He sold me my EcoBoost Premium at xplan pricingwith a 500 refundable deposit. He said I should get it let September, early October.

Not sure why some dealers know everything and are so up to speed and others like the ones here seem so out of the loop... It's kind of frustrating.

Yep......1st thing I asked today at our meeting to get it ordered, was: Can I combine the $750.00 rebate offer from Ford (Came in the mail this past week) with X-Plan...He said No & No...

I reminded the sales manager, That he said I could use X-Plan several months ago (Before word of LE was coming)...Well he said it's not available on the LE...So I said: why not the Coupon at least...He said, because it expires before delivery of the LE & may not work for LE...I asked why would Ford send it to me after visiting their site and inquiring about the 2015 Mustang + not putting on the coupon, not valid for 2015 LE.

He tells me that he can have another one sent out closer to LE's delivery date, but wasn't sure it would work...

I said: I would offer $750.00 under MSRP now and if the coupon works they could have the $750.00...he tells me, it's a rebate for me, not them...I agreed to refund the $750.00 if the coupon works...I asked for everything in writing and the car is ordered...Guess I got lucky!!...Even though they still made quite a bit off the deal.

What dealer did you talk to? I went by two dealers here and they both said the same thing. I just called one in New Braunfels and they said they can. The salesman took my desired order over the phone and is going to call me back with pricing.

I went by in person after work and talked to the sales director who was my previous salesman on my previous stangs. He is placing my order tonight. He is placing my order tonight. When I went by their a few weeks ago, he was in a meeting and they gave me some young salesman who knew nothing :thumbdown:

I use Southway Ford and will only use the sales director from now on.

Thats awfully funny. I just called them this evening and they told me, "No, we aren't placing custormer orders yet." I told them that other dealers are and she said, "Well, maybe it depends on the dealer.":shrug:

I'm going by Red McCombs tomorrow, they said they are placing orders. We'll see.

Either way, contrats on your order!!

I believe he said they could order the LE and dealer stock right now. I placed an order for the LE.

So, does the counter start over every day? month? or year? or does the counter recycle? So, for example on 5/20 20 mustangs were ordered, then on Tuesday, 30 more mustangs were ordered. Would Tuesday start over again at B001? Or would they start at B020? Also, does the B stand for anything. Perhaps dealer stock is A001, then I got the first custom order B0001? Thanks....

Only 133 days till delivery (plus or minus a month) :kickrock:

It would pull into the production queue based on priority each week while the factory is deciding what to build. Highest priority (lowest number) gets built first, assuming parts are available for production that week.

My local dealer is getting 8, Galpin Ford is getting 10. The higher the volume Mustang sales the more allotment. Not every dealer will get one

Did your dealer charge an ADM (Added Dealer Markup) on the LE? The dealers in SC really suck, all of them want at least $10k over.

The order numbers, if I remember correctly, are assigned at the dealership level and only have significance to the dealership itself.

Our dealership folks could probably confirm this.
