I went to two dealers this afternoon after being told on the phone that I could place an order. When I got to both of them, they had no idea what I was talking about. The first one said they would be able to pre-order sometime next month but showed me the order guide dated 5/13, and the second one didn't know anything. When I mentioned that people were already placing orders at other dealers, they had nothing to say. Has anyone else ran into something like this yet?

I called my dealer last night, he says they cannot order yet, I told him there was plenty of information online that the order bank has opened for the 2015. I will stop by this afternoon with copies of the orders that were placed on this site to show them that orders are being placed ;)

What dealer did you talk to? I went by two dealers here and they both said the same thing. I just called one in New Braunfels and they said they can. The salesman took my desired order over the phone and is going to call me back with pricing.

On a different note, does anyone have any input about when the GT convertible might be available for order? I know the order guide said it will be delayed and will be Job #2. I currently have a 2012 V6 Premium Convertible with a lease that is expiring in a month. I spoke with Ford and they said I can extend the lease after 60 days as long as I have an order for a new Ford. I wonder if ordering will start by the middle to end of August. Any thoughts?

Why not use X-plan? I got in under 5 minutes.

They aren't sure but may be the only one they getting. Originally thought they was getting two. Order number 3009

48,190$ with destination.

At this point any and all dealership that are supposed to get the LE , would know 100% if they're getting one or not. I would also find it hard to believe that any dealer would get two units.

My local dealer is getting 8, Galpin Ford is getting 10. The higher the volume Mustang sales the more allotment. Not every dealer will get one
