I "ordered" on 9/17 yet my order is still not on Cotus?

I ordered on 9/5 and my order never showed in Cotus until I got my VIN from my dealer. It still doesnt show up if I look it up using Order#/Dealer code...

mine showed up 2 days later, when the dealer gave me the order number and dealer code

OMG! I thought it would never happen, but I got my VIN number!! Looks like I might get my car in November after all!!!

Still shows in order processing. Official 'retail' order date was 7/11/14.

It's been 95-degrees out and my current car has no working A/C and barely still runs. My pain relief is only 4-6 weeks away!!!!

I ordered my Triple Yellow GT Premium on 8/19, got my VIN this past Saturday with a tentative build date of the week of October 27th and possible delivery mid-November. FYI, my build date was moved ahead of 3 other Mustangs Yokum Ford ordered before mine, because apparently Ford's running low on bits for some popular options, and the only two I ordered were the spare tire/wheel combo (natch) and the 68B Premier Trim (although no one can tell me what the 68B accent trim color is in a black interior).
Time to order snow tires — I live in PA, and last winter was NASTY.

Ordered mine from Yocum too. Did you order from Jeff. Mine is after yours. Agree on the winter issue in Pa. Not real crazy about the summer tires. lol

That's pretty optimistic. I got my vin last week and I'm not expecting delivery til December

I entered my new VIN in this website http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleSelection.do#

and it said my build date is 30.11.0002:

Primary Features

Transmission: 6 Speed Manual Transmission-MT82

Does this date mean November 30, 2014?

Note I have triple yellow, 400A, PP, nav.

Congrats on your VIN (you actually got it on 9/25). ;)

Your current build week (11/2) is in the source code:

"currentBuildWeek": "2014-11-02 19:00:00"

When we get closer, you will be assigned a day, but right now the code is not populated with an estimated date.

My order number was on the Vehicle Order Confirmation sheet I got from the dealer. If you can't find that or don't have one I'm sure the dealership can give it too you.

not sure what that means, i believe its just a placeholder. but like the post above says, we both have an ESTIMATED 11-2-14 build week. So even after it gets built, it still needs to get shipped to our dealerships. That's why I'm guessing our delivery dates will be sometime in Dec/Jan.

Dealer should give it to you. Seeing how I ordered on 5/20 and it showed up to Cotus on 5/23, posted as ordered on 5/24. I DO NOT HAVE A VIN.

So you should have gotten a DORA or atleast a printout of the order which would have all this information. Do you know if the dealer is ordering as a retail or dealer stock? If it's dealer stock just go to Ford's website and search inventory for your dealers inventory.

If you build the first week of November, you are likely to have your car by mid-November since you are in New York. Now that OKTB has been achieved, the delays appear to be pretty short.

I got my order number and the dealer code from the salesman. When I enter it into cotus.ford.com it says "no matching vehicle found".
Is my understanding of the process correct?
On the 16th or sometime after I get assigned a VIN, once I have got my VIN my car will show up on cotus?

are you certain you have the correct dealer code/order number? mine showed up on cotus the day my dealer gave me the info, which was the monday after the saturday i went in to order it.

if you do have the correct dealer code, try entering an order number lower than yours. for example, if your order number is 3316, try 3315, 3314, etc.
