2015 Mustang Orders Placed Thread (Vote/Share Here)

im so tired of hearing people complain who ordered in 7/? like seriously you were 2 months later then a lot of people. don't complain when you don't have a vin when people who ordered 5/? still don't have one.

I am really sympathetic to you guys with retail orders placed in May. The way it turns out the system works, that's a long wait.

But all the cars scheduled and built so far are dealer stock orders placed prior to 7/10

There are LOTS of dealer stock orders from later July, and even August and September that are scheduling this week. Those of us in that category are feeling a little left out, despite waiting two months less that you. Once the retail orders start scheduling, then you, too can check COTUS five times a day to see if you are "in," LOL.

Hoping we are all "in" soon enough!

The only problem with stock orders there is no guarantee. Cash buyers like me can whip them up. Lol:doh:

I'd be more worried about that if I didn't know the salesperson. Fortunately, I do.

ummm... WTF.... i just checked Cotus because i don't really know why. Just to give myself false hope of it having made progress. But in any case. It says no car matching that info found, and I checked it 16 different times. It even saves the codes from my previous searches. I have no idea why, that now it's saying this.

cotus isn't official. In fact all over these forums it has been stated that this behavior is normal. Its technically a beta tracking site from Ford. Contact your dealer if you want to confirm that your order is still good.

Mine was gone also today but showed back up a couple of hours later :clap2:

10 is retail so you wouldn't have gotten a VIN even if they submitted it before 7/10. but priority 10 is the best you could get so as soon as they start scheduling retail orders you should get a VIN.

Priority numbers are codes for dealer allocations. So if a dealer has 8 stock order and first retail order will be #19. If you have a #10 dealer might have 16 to 20 stock order be for retail is ordered.

It's doing the same for me right now, so perhaps the DB is down. I wouldn't worry too much about it yet. Perhaps if it's not fixed on Monday, then worry.

only when an email notification is sent to me (subbed to this thread). but usually there's nothing interesting. just everyone complaining about how long its taking, i still dont have my vin #, etc.

You know sometimes I wonder just how influential Mustang6g has been on Ford as a group. I'm thinking very little but then I realized we have 425 cars ordered according to the poll. If you average around $40000 per car that's 17 million dollars!! That's impressive if you ask me and it would have been nice for all 425 of those cars on the road prior to the launch. That's 17 million dollars talking. Not complaining or bad mouthing Ford by any means. Just sayin.
