I am glad you liked it enough to log in -- welcome to the community.

Here are the images (I didn't embed because the page is getting a bit over-run with large images :) )

Option 1 (flat turn-signal, inboard fogs):

Option 2: (combo fog/turn-signal):

I am not sure which one I like best, but I am leaning towards the latter, just because it is so clean, and it is unique with the integrated turn-signal/fog light.

I have found vendors who can build this just as it is shown, so if I can't get Cervini, Steeda, etc. to do it, I am trying to get this on Kickstarter to pre-sell some kits so we can build it ourselves. But... that will have to wait until after the car is released, of course :)
This is 68 fastback for for 21st century :)

Great work guys!!!

Saaweeeet! 50th Anny Gold Edition! I hope we see a color like this.

While we're semi speculating on what different aftermarket kits could look like, do you have any cool ideas for some special 50th badging that you could show us?

I am glad the mustang community is trying their best to build up some excitements for the upcoming Mustang, since Ford is doing a pretty shitty job at it.

They probably want to avoid what happened with the Camaro and build up too much excitement too soon then get everyone pissed off that is took so long for the actual car to show up.

If that's what they are afraid of then they are doing something wrong. Regardless, they should build some excitement for it, instead of all this staged spy shots and videos. It doesn't have to be over the top, just some thing for people to look forward to and maybe save up for. They are keeping everything on lock down and top secret. I am not sure what their marketing strategy is.

A little OT but anyone see the teaser photos Ford showed of the bespoke mustangs that will be at SEMA in Nov?

This Hollywood HotRods GT vert is gonna have a removable aluminum roof.. thats a beaut of a roof line too and what I was hoping for the S550. I wish there were some kits out there that could do make it look THAT good.

A little over the top??? Sorry, it still looks like an awkward hunchbacked cartoon... All that's missing are the clowns popping out of it. That would be a Mustang for the Camaro crowd, tweakers, and fourteen year olds. Thank GOD it won't look anything like that!

I think they may be trying not to have hapen what happened in the UK when pictures of the new fusion came out almost 2 years before it was for sale and the sales of the model it replaced almost stoped because they were waiting on the new one

The marketing strategy is about the 2014 right now, not the 2015. That's the point.

When they decide to make that transition it will take zero time to get the wheels turning on that train. While I agree it's frustrating for us enthusiasts that are well ahead of the information curve and want to see what's in store years down the line already, if they ran the company that way they would have a lot more people holding off on purchases of the current model.

That would make a great special anniversary color.

I'd also like to see them bring back a yellow option of some sort.

Those are some pretty nice body kits. I don't remember what video I was watching but Steve Saleen mention that he was already working pretty close to ford in building the next generation mustang Saleens. Pretty exciting times coming up.

I am really liking these ideas.
I joined this forum because of all the new info that seems to be here first.
I'm waiting to go to dealer to order a new Cobra or whatever the top option package is as soon as it comes out.

Unfortunately, I don't believe anything that guy says anymore. I used to LOVE Saleens -- almost bought one on 2 occasions. But, what he did the last couple of years, plus talking to some vendors and employees over time has really tainted his company to me.

However, they have made some of the best looking Mustangs over the years -- I have to give them credit for that.

Yeah, its unfortunate. The first mistake was selling Saleen, Inc. The name has been worthless ever since.

It is really too bad. I remember lusting over the new edge cars. It would be nice to bring back that look with the S550.
