That's with forced induction which we all know is the cheapest way to make extra power. I have to agree with others. An NA 5.2L making 600hp from FORD (not Ferrari etc) and have it come in under 60-70K is too good to be true.
The 2015 GT makes 87 hp/lt and the EB makes 135hp/lt which Ford has...
You sure about that? I know of people who have had Ford installed Whipple SC's that have still retained the factory warranty. They added the extended warranty on top of that which covered all the drivetrain components/engine.
That being said, for an aggressive tune I would not expect Ford to...
This was posted on another forum, from some kind of supplier database system.

5.2L V8....SVT S550
Usual grain of salt disclaimers apply, but some other interesting stuff in there too.
On a completely obvious/not so obvious point, if you have any ability or willingness whatsoever to purchase the hipo model (presumably, the GT350), waiting until next year could make your decision that much harder. It all depends where your mind is at. Sometimes I find it better that my options...
Do you have some kind of bet going about MY? I don't get why you care so much when everyone pretty much agrees on when it will actually be available.
The options in the CONCEPS screen captures for the SVT model were real; obviously they were pulled by Ford and not included in the order guide...
Agreed the HDR effect is part of it. However, one thing that I actually do prefer on the render is the upper and lower grills are merged. The S550 is a great looking Mustang but the lower bumper area hangs off ever so awkwardly, looking tacked-on. It is my least favorite part of an otherwise...
Actually that was order banks info from the CONCEPS system accessible to dealers which as I understand is a preview of options and codes. As indicated here, Ford has stated that order guides are still being finalized. I'm sure one of the dealers on the site can confirm but I believe CONCEPS is...
Thank you for posting these.
I had to come back here after being fed up with the level of stupidity over at another forum. There are actually people out there who think this is the result of dealer error, not understanding that this is a screenshot of Ford's dealer order banks containing info...
Agreed, it has some strange bits to it (the grille for me) but the wheels and interior are fantastic. Very well done. The louvered DLO is also very unique and has grown on me. I might even look to the aftermarket for this if I end up buying one.
They now have it spinning on display in...
Agreed, too many assumptions being made. We have no idea if 2015 will be a standard length model year, shorter, or longer and if SVT will follow suit.
As for the forum wars I am also a member of both and can say emphatically this is by far the better site for the new Mustang.
I guess am...
Agree^^
Middle next year still seems aggressive to me based on the fact that we are just now seeing it being heavily tested in public. The S550 was at this stage in Spring of 2013 (?) and we won't see it in showrooms until end of 2014.
As for model year I hope they call it a 50th anniversary...
Going strong. It'll be interesting to see how sales end up by time the S550 is available to purchase. Should be almost a whole year of data to compare and by then the Alpha Camaro will be much closer. The S197 and Zeta Camaro will be in a more similar situation.
Haha dont u just love how anytime an american car gets some curves and loses the "muscular" box on wheels look it becomes eurofied/asiafied in the eyes of some internet trolls (not on this forum)?
That would mean orders start in mid July much later than the 05/13 date from the first post. Personally i think mid July makes more sense for 'late 2014' availability.
If the date were 5/13, why not just push it up a month to 4/17 for extra punch? seems so random.
Actual brochures do not have fine print that it is a preproduction vehicle being shown.
I ordered mine on Ford's site for the heck of it. doubt it gets sent anytime soon if at all.
