I will be going to see the 2015 tomorrow and was wondering if there's anything in particular you guys want to see photographed or any questions asked?
Ask what kind of real world gas mileage he's getting between fill-ups?

Does the performance package have a lower ride height than the standard Mustang?

Good question. I haven't seen anything published so far that specifies a difference in ride height and no one on the forum has indicated that they noticed one. There are several photos in different threads with PP and non PP cars adjacent so you could try and eyeball it. Be nice to have an official Ford response.

"The ride height is slightly lower than standard"

This is the only reference I have seen...far from official, so who knows? I am not sure these local Ford trainers would know either, won't hurt to ask.

I think this was car and driver nonsense, the official press release on the suspension didnt say anything about it... the mags tend to kinda make stuff up to fill word counts often

There is a White EcoBoost Premium at Sunnyvale Ford right now. I just left and the car will be there until 3pm.

Saw it, looks beautiful. You can really tell it's not the current model from the back. The hips are wider and the roof tapers down to look narrower, very sexy.

They put it in the worst possible place outside the show room on the side where they are doing jackhammering with a Bobcat. I realize they are doing construction on the showroom building, but why not put it on the other side?:headbonk:

I really like the two tone you get with the "ceramic" interior, looks really sharp.

The whole time I was there, no one came up to talk to me, I guess they didn't have ear plugs.

Yeah, I liked it okay. I'm a little torn though that it's not living up to what I had hoped. The hard plastic door panels were a shame and the doors lacked the "thud" upon closing that others had mentioned.

Also, the hood on this car really, really stands out when you are in the car. I'm used to my C7 and others that while visible, they roll off out of sight. With this car the hood seems to go on for days. I'm sure I'll get used to it though over time. I REALLY want to drive the car.

The sales trainer could have been better. He seemed nice enough but really wasn't very sure of his answers. He told another gentleman that was looking at the car that all the Premium cars (even with PP) came with the brushed aluminum dash. That gentleman and I both agreed that the plain brushed dash looked a little "off" in the interior.

Oh, and I also heard the trainer tell two people and then he told me that "I don't even like sports cars, but this is nice" and went on to mention he drives a Raptor. How can I really accept his opinion if he's not a "sports car guy" ??

PICTURES?
I only got some (probably bad) cell phone pics I can post later.

I believe unless you buy the premier interior, LE or 50th AP you get hard plastic doors.

Multiple people have confirmed the LE and premier interior(not sure if that's the name) have soft touch doors while others do not.

Yeah, I was just hoping for a premium interior car. The one I am look at picking up has the 50th package on it and is white.

Just not 100% sold on white after seeing this one now. I'm sure I'm over thinking it though.

What were your concerns with white? What other colors were you considering?

It left me feeling a little flat. Could have been since it was an Eco boost with no badges and the machined silver wheels it looked a bit plain. Not bad by any means, but just missing something that made it pop.

I was planning on white or ingot silver.
