That's a really cool Shelby! I would think it would have gone higher than 92k. But things are definitely slowing down.

Pretty good number for a 2015 non-R.

I would love to know what the reserve was.

Now imagine the $50-60k they spent going into the s&p 500 in 2014 or 2015....brutal
It's that kind of thinking that has prevented me from enjoying some of what I have! Been really hard for me to spend and live a little.

Buying your old R back isn’t a bad effort. Enjoy it, not many get to get back a car they regret selling.

Worldwide Car Auction on Saturday Aug 30th in Auburn Indiana.

Around the 1:34:20 mark in the video a 2015 GT350 at auction. The car had 65 miles no dealer prep .... Hammered at $92k. I don't think it hit its reserve. No clue what the buyer/seller premiums are.
Interesting and thanks for sharing!

Back in July 2020 I sold my 2015 GT350 Track Pack car at Mecum in Indy and it hammered for $85,800 with 42 miles on the odometer and it was still on the MSO.

When ordering F0077 I took a chance on a Shadow Black example along with Deep Impact Blue OTT stripes and thought that combination looked pretty good and ended up being a 1 of 1 vehicle.

Was also able to purchase F0080 from a great friend of mine and sold that unit with ~14,000 miles on the odometer and really liked the Race Red w/DIB OTT stripes a great deal as well.

Never had any blow by or burned any oil and took that unit to the 8,250 RPM redline on a regular basis.

Thanks and suggest that color combination on a 2018 R model even looks better than a Base GT350 based on a Red accent stripe but more importantly the brighter Lightning Blue OTT stripes.

I don't know how you all can not drive those cars. I am coming up on 70k on my 2020 GT350 summer only driving. Not sure what I would replace this car with? Maybe another one I guess. Can't afford a Porsche GT4.

If you drop in a Coyote, it becomes a Mach 1. A Porsche is on a whole different level than a Mustang GT350.

It is called lifestyle.

Before retiring my work life required me to be on the road almost every week throughout the year which included staying in hotels between ~75 and ~90 days each year.

Having said that my career also allowed me to purchase some outstanding Mustang vehicles from all 6 first generations and also allowed me to build a wonderful relationship with the FMC, various Ford dealerships and with many outstanding like-minded Mustang enthusiasts over the last ~57 years.

I consider myself very fortunate and lucky and am thankful each and every day for being involved with the Blue Oval Brand on many levels.

Now that I am retired I continue to travel a great deal as we have children in Australia and various parts of Canada and sold most of my cars a few years back due to a serious health issue.

Congrats on amassing a great deal of miles on your 2020 GT350 based on summer travel only as that is very impressive to say the least! :like: :like:

Continued safe travels along with good health and looking forward to seeing you with a new Mustang ride sometime down the road!

I got my first mustang was I was 16. A 1979 Indy pace car. Then I went to buy a Probe GT, remember those? 🤮. Lol. I test drove it a the sales guy asked me what I thought and I told him I F'n hated it. He said I came in a mustang I should leave in one and pointed to a lot filled with mustangs. I left with a new forest green '95 mustang.

Then I wanted a new '97 Cobra. Dealership treated me like crap so much so I went down the street to the Porsche dealer and bought a 911. I've had a couple of 911's. Great cars. But now days I'm only interested in the 911 turbos or any of the GT cars. A GT4 RS would be perfect but I would settle for a GT4.

The GT350 bought me back to the mustang world. I love this car and can't get enough driving it. I more than likely I'll find another one to drive.
