I’m looking for recommendations for the best tires for my ‘15 GT performance pack. I don’t drive it in bad weather at all. Right now I have the pZero on - looking for something better.

If you are looking for street tires only and the “best” Michelin PS4S. If you are looking for a good drag radial for street use and some track use Nitto NT555R2. If you are looking for track use (although they will handle good in dry street conditions) Mickey Thompson ET Street R, but I recommend getting drag wheels for the MT.

…best tires would be wider front tires
255 on a pp1 is stupid and result in pig handling (understeering)
A very nice setup is 285 all around on 19x10 et 35 wheels
Yes ps4 are good tires

Thanks - I was think about those Michelins. I also had my eye on the Firehawks, but I want led to see what actual Mustang people were saying. You never know with those online reviews.

Thanks. I would like to change my set-up, but I didn’t want to change out my wheels. I would love wider tires all around as well.

In this case buy 2 pp1 rear wheels cheap and run 275 all around
The only “modification” is to use a 5mm spacer in front. That’s it. Studs are long enough and 1 of the big advantage is that you can fully rotate tires when they are the same size

PS4S are great all around street tires. Good in the wet, good performance. Not really bad at anything at all (just keep them above freezing temps). They just cost a bit much. There are better 'street' tires if all you care about is a few short miles of fantastic grip, but there's a lot to like about the PS4S and very little to dislike.

Continentals are a great option at a slightly lower price.

The Firehawks are a step down, but good for the money, and certainly better than 7 year old Pirellis (lets hope they aren't still your first set!)

Agreed! I’ve never run the Firehawks but heard good things, especially for the price. I’m on my second set of Continental ECS and I love them. Figures that I bought my set for my 2022 in October and now the updated 02’s are out 🤷‍♂️

I have ran 3 sets of tires on my GT and here is what my experiences have been:

Factor Pirelli's on PP wheels: Hot garbage. I HATED these tires for everything they were worth.

Firestone Indy 500: Way better than the Pirelli's. I ran stock sizes 255/275. They are a good, affordable tire. I got right at 30k on the rear (not easy miles, but not constant abuse) and the front's should easily last 40-45k with a good alignment. These tires aren't going to grip as good as a more expensive tire, but they are predictable at the limits which was fantastic. They handle well, are quiet, they gain some grip when it's warmer/hot, no issues balancing and they are way more affordable versus higher tier tires. They were also fantastic in rain. I would not hesitate to run them again and again.

Michelin Pilot Super Sports 275/35 and 305/35 on 19x10 and 19x11: I can't go back now and have been completely spoiled by these. I did a lot of research and agonized over which tires to get for my new wheel setup. I am SUPER happy with these tires. So far they are wearing well (around 8k on them) and they GRIP FOR DAYS. They are very expensive, but I don't put a ton of miles on my car and have another daily driver, so I can stretch their life out. I can see why these were OEM on the GT350's.

Yes, still my first set. I don’t get to drive her enough - I’m almost at 7k miles since new. I plan to do more next season.
