why do I have the feeling that car manufacturers would prefer that all car buyers go for an Auto. The modern Auto is hard to mess up, outside of towing and over-heating it.... I can say this is my first and last ford EVER. This forum is littered with lack of service issues.
For those that want V8 / manual at a reasonable price, there isn't much choice. You have Camaro and Challenger. Both with Tremec, and priced accordingly.
The big issue I see here is that when there is a problem, cars can easily get stuck in warranty repair for an extended period of time. It's hard to imagine an independent mechanic messing around for weeks. He wouldn't be in business for long.
Whether Chevy and Dodge have faster warranty repair and better supply chains would make an interesting investigation.
