People who ordered their cars have had the same deal, even those taking delivery in the last few weeks.
It seems that it's the luck of the draw + how sensitive you are. If you are highly sensitive it's pretty doubtful any S550 would meet your standards.
We're halfway through the second...
Ford won't give me a penny for the tint, stereo stuff, or the trunk mat - bought on the day of purchase.
So I have a hearing scheduled with an arbitrator on the 20th, gonna go to the mat on this.
It's one tool people use to make their decisions to deny that is....
Came to this thread for the venomous fanboys and was not disappointed. Brand loyalty to the point of foaming at the mouth is truly an indication of a mental defect.
You did the right thing man but don't get your hopes up. If you want a Mustang you're going to have to overlook a lot to be truly happy with it, especially coming from German cars.
Lucky you got out before you had to actually have something serviced, you'd likely be homicidal by then.
Just like so many on here are besides themselves over the fact that the new Camaro is a better performer.
Science should be studying these types of people.
Just got off the phone with the BBB, Ford has agreed to a buyback, now we just have to agree on the amount. Whether I'll get my $3200 back for the stereo work and tint is still up in the air but I am very happy that we're moving towards a conclusion.
This should be a textbook lesson on how...
425whp STI would abuse a 425whp Mustang under any circumstances. Comparing how much you spend to get 30whp, the STI wins hands down, you can get that with a reflash.
If you want to play that game, you can reflash a Golf R and get into the 11's, have to spend more than that to get a 5.0 there...
It's fun to play this game, my new loaner Fusion is more settled on sweeping high speed turns than my 16 GT with PP. No steering corrections vs constant steering corrections.
Gonna be a great day when my buyback is processed.
They called me Wednesday out of the blue and left a message that the car was ready. I was out of town so could only get it today.
I drove it around town for a bit and well it's still making the same noise in addition to the transmission now whining a lot more than before. The 'whomp whomp...
So much fudd in here.
Cobb tunes are extremely conservative, Subarus are reliable, ringland issue is way blown out of proportion.
New STI handles much better than any previous iteration and will hand any stock Mustang its ass on a road coarse.
Facts kids, facts.
Your fanboy is showing, it's an all new platform based on the ATS, much stiffer chassis and shed a lot of weight, not to mention the mag suspension.
It's an entirely different animal and shames the Mustang in every performance category.
Sorry but it's the truth.
My driver seat got stuck all the way forward when my dad used the lever on the side instead of the latch in the back. Took me several minutes to fix it by pushing it even further forward and jimmying the latch. It's a shoddy mechanism.
This was 30 seconds into my grand reveal - if I only knew...
Subaru was the same for me, and Honda, never more than a couple days. BMW took a little longer IIRC for my HPFP 335i circus. Not necessarily routine parts either.
Just looking around here and 30 days or more for parts seems way more par for the course than it should be, it's not acceptable.
I...
I've owned a few CPO's, my last was a 2006 C55 AMG that I got with 43,000 miles on it for 21K OTD in 2010.
There are a few things you should know - CPO's can vary quite a bit dealer to dealer, I got mine from a large dealer with a great rep - on my first service visit basically every bushing...
Well I've given them every opportunity, someone was to contact me by Saturday to discuss a replacement - I did not receive a call and no one from corporate has followed up.
So I filed today with the BBB Autoline asking for a refund.
My patience is at an end.
