2015 eb duct change

Has anyone changed the center ductwork above the touchscreen in a 2015 eb from the 3 vent outlets to the 2 vents + 2 smaller outlets for a gauge package? I’m installing the oil pressure and boost gauge package and would like to eliminate that vent and to do that you need to change the ductwork. I have read that you can trim the center vent to accommodate the gauge package but I would like to put the proper ductwork in that doesn’t have the center air vent. Any one ever done this? All input is appreciated.
