I did a 2018 intake manifold swap on my 2015 GT, and as much as I like the power, I hate that my engine cover does not fit now, almost makes me regret doing the swap. With so many 15-17 GT owners doing this swap I am shocked the after market has not made brackets or new covers to fit a cover on a 15-17 GT with a 2018 intake manifold. I came across someone posting rubber tubes to fit the tabs to the new manifold and cutting the cover. Anyone have anything on this? My swap has the lockouts.

I did it on mine. No IMRC. The shop just cut a few tabs/pieces of plastic away. Was about 20 mins work.

Am I in the minority that thinks the exposed 18/gt350 mani looks way better than that cheap plastic cover?

What brackets did you use to mount the 15 engine cover? Tried the Ebay link. No longer available.
Would love to see pics! Thanks

Had my local body shop remodel the engine cover to fit to my recent 2018 Mani swap... Think they have done a great job. It sits a little higher than stock but I think it looks great.

Had the 2018 manifold for a couple years after the IMRC rod snapped on my OEM manifold. Currently working on a return fuel system where I want the FPR and lines to be somewhat stealth and what better place than the IMRC solenoid area that is non-existent on my car now. I took the dimensions posted by someone else on this forum and had them laser cut out of stainless. If anyone is interested I can probably get some cut for you (for some coin lol). It is almost a bolt on affair with the bracket (after some trimming on the manifold itself.) Cover does go under strut brace, have it out currently for fuel system layout.

I would be interested in getting one of those brackets. How much did it cost you ?
