That brings back some memories. I blew 2 slave cylinders before I went with the McLeod adjustable one. (Running the twin disk Spec clutch) The second time it happened, it took out my 2nd gear blocker ring so I ended up changing the blockers and shift pads to carbon and brass respectively. I...
Hi Rick, I added info about the install kit on the OP. I bought the install kit from American Muscle and they conveniently covered the PN on the box so it is an assumption they sent me the correct item (which should be M-4210-B3). Judging from the pictures I saw back in the day when I ordered it...
Bought these almost 3 years ago to put on after I did my Tremec Magnum swap but never got around to it and then got used to driving on the factory 3.73 gears. Not really sure what is a good price on this so will consider offers.

New Steeda bar is scheduled to be delivered next Friday. I can honestly say Steeda customer service continues to be top notch, Mike at Steeda is extremely knowledgeable and definitely a people person. I appreciate the Steeda crew for helping me with this!
As for now I have my car back together...
Good old HAZ, coincidentally was talking to someone at work yesterday about why we don't weld the structures on the airframes for that very reason despite the amount of welders we have. Its inevitable without heat treating after.
Beyond that, Steeda has always taken care of me with great...
Thanks TJ! Just waiting for Mike's further response to my DM. Took another picture of the snap after I pulled it out the car. Looks to have broke right at the tack for the stop collar.
Not sure if anyone has ever experienced this but just noticed yesterday while changing out my wheel hubs and half shafts that my rear Steeda sway bar snapped right by the body mount. Waiting for Steeda to respond to my message but just wondering since I was more impressed than disappointed when...
Have had latch problems from day 1. Just learned to live with it even though it makes me look like a fool finger banging my hood latch to get it to unlatch. I've also accidentally pulled off the cabin hood release lever a few times due to the force needed.
The fix for me is I typically spray...
I've had the RDE lockout with the stiffer spring for close to 2 years no problems. It does take some effort to get into reverse since I have the MGW shifter with a shorter shaft. It is nearly impossible to accidentally get into reverse unless you really strong arm shift into 5th which I don't...
Had the 2018 manifold for a couple years after the IMRC rod snapped on my OEM manifold. Currently working on a return fuel system where I want the FPR and lines to be somewhat stealth and what better place than the IMRC solenoid area that is non-existent on my car now. I took the dimensions...
Two ways. Knock out the allen portion on the correct sized allen socket and use that with a cresent wrench. Or cut a section off an allen wrench and use the corresponding cresent wrench to tighten it.
I am still on the OEM stock master. It has leaked slightly onto the interior carpet since I got the car new and have 30k miles now, 8k of which were on the new clutch. At the very least replace the pilot bearing and hydraulic throwout/slave assembly.
Had a similar problem recently. Turned out I exploded my hydraulic throwout bearing. It was completely seized and the bearing had tons of play. First symptom was after a shift and the pedal lost pressure but I was able to pump it back up. Second high RPM shift, pedal stayed to floor, and had...
I am still waiting for some of the pieces to arrive. Sorry wasn't clear since I only mentioned in first comment that I was in dilema a week ago. In terms of components, I am going to be running:
-3.73 stock gearing (may go 4.09 later on) but the slightly taller gear should be better for my case...
I was in the same dilemma a week ago when my forth went out on my MT82. I ultimately decided on the Magnum XL since to me I didnt really want to spend 3k to polish a turd (MT82 Gforce gears.) My options were really Ben's Tr6060 or the XL but quick availability wise, I choose the XL. If the costs...
Congrats OP! Mustang was my first ever new car purchase (and I guess first car that wasn't my parents) and I paid for it in full almost 2 years ago. I was fortunate that my college was 'cheap' enough that I never really incurred serious debt and was fortunate enough to land my dream job right...
While the OEM PP gauges are nice, for me it was nicer to be able to have two gauges that I, as well as a passenger, could monitor. Even though the S550 come with an AFR readout, I prefer to have it on the center dash for easy reading. I also already had the boost gauge laying around which was...
