I'm running 20s with Michelin PS 4S 265/40 all around and shitty aftermarket coilovers. As soon as I wash off all the ash and dust from that silly fire from my car, can share some pics.

EDIT: If you're on the younger side of your life, the ride quality is bearable, just pay attention to all the bumps and potholes. On a smooth road it's a blessing.

Install the PP bracing first. I did try a vert with Ford 20's option and wasn't bad with the 20' specific dampers and springs.

Depends on your roads. If less than perfect 19s with correct offset for more poke than stock and 265 /40/19 will look great. Would go more than 9.5W aim for 22-25 lb per wheel at a min rotary forged or similar.

You can also try spacers on yours.

I sprung weight is the #1 enemy doing 20s can easily add 15+ lb per tire wheel.,.and ruin the ride

Got it now.
From browsing the rock auto parts lists it seems so based on the specificity on wheel size when describing dampers and springs...if I recall correctly. The ride on a OE 20" is pretty good if not a bit sluggish hauling around 70lb of tire / wheel...

I'm still on the fence on tire size. But I would think that an aftermarket 20 inch wheel ant tire combo would be the same or lighter than my stock cs/gt 19 setup.

That would be a great outcome....easy to do with current actual weight a 15 min R&R job then mfg published wheel and tire weights.

I do love Ford wheels because they are indestructible, though heavy, but look good.

When it comes to wheels can't cheap out....

When debating 19” vs 20” I found it to be an easy ultimate decision as I made the choice to go 19” and regretted it. So much so that I sold them and ordered same setup on 20”. The Mustang is a large car and 20’s look more proportional. I noticed no real difference in ride and it simply looks so much better.

It's a very good point. That's why when it comes to looks I always ask a new girl how fast can she run and how high she can jump in 6" heels. Taller always better if they work!
