I like my Bama V2 R93 tune.
My MT82 is also a bit notchy/grindy until the fluid warms up. I'll be changing the fluid to Red Line MTL or something from Royal Purple soon.

I had a Bama tune on my '14 GT, and loved it. Bama was very well regarded on the S197's; not necessarily the best tune on the market, but solid, and the free tunes for life was great for those seeking to slowly mod like me.

But from everything i have read Bama has yet to figure out the S550. The gains aren't great, and I've read a lot of stories of issues with the tune. Like someone said before, they aren't what they used to be. I would recommend Lund.

I am a slow modder myself. If I wanted to do that would nama still be a good choice? Or should I go lund and pay each time I get a mod?

The free tune updates are nice, but IIRC Lund will update your tune for free for anything short of forced induction, so it still makes Lund the winner.

New to the forum guys; nice to see an active community for the mustang!

1st Question: What do you guys think of Bama Tunes?

2nd Question: Are there any problems with the transmissions in the S550? I just got mine about 2 weeks ago and I hear a tiny bit of grinding sometimes and it doesn't feel as sturdy as the transmission was in my 2008 gt.

Just wanted to make a good first post on here. Any insight or opinions would be gladly accepted.
Welcome and congrats, creatortony!

My name is Deysha, from Ford Service. I recommend you bring it in to your Ford Dealer and get this noise checked out. Then, please PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number. I’ll loop in the customer service manager for your area if needed.
