Thanks for answering me questions SVT. Got the cooler installed and tested today. Track weekend next weekend at Mid Ohio. I'll update when done, but I'm guessing it will be fine.
I used an RB racing gear pump. Quiet. Plus I'm pumping into the cooler. I think I'll get better results, as I think I will fill the cooler more. If I pull on it, I thought it might not pull it through the entire cooler. Especially since the hoses are on the bottom.
Problem is, I don't have a way to see the temp. No nGauge yet.
Awesome man, glad to hear you got it all sorted out. Let us know how it goes at the track.

Is your pump always on?

Where is the transmission heat sensor in relationship to where the pump fills the transmission with cool fluid.

My question really is...is the sensor just read transmission temps of fluid that was just dumped into it? Can there still be parts of the trans getting hot and not really receiving cooled fluid, but the sensor thinks the trans is cool base on the sensor being close to where the fluid is coming in?

Does this make sense or am I just over thinking it?

Cooler is working great. Last session yesterday I hit 190 degrees.
There is a guy here with an R, and I'm going to ask him to check his temp when we go out today. Will update later.

It good to see that the coolers are keeping fluid cool, I hope that the cooled fluid is being dissipated throughout the transmission.

First session out, the R had a temp of 179 at the end. Dropped to 154 by the time he got back to his garage.
I was at 150 at the end of my session and we are running about the same lap times.
I will update later, as I am sure it will get to the 190 I saw yesterday at the end of the day.

Last session I saw 176. R was at 171. Ambient temp was about 75, which was about 10 deg cooler today than yesterday.Had my best lap today as well...really pushing the car (at least for me). If I decide I want to keep tracking it, I'll add a diff cooler. Going to change my diff fluid this weekend.

No reason it shouldn't. There is a lot of rotating gears in that tranny, mixing it all up. At least that's my opinion.
