We made our first road trip from west La. to Big Bend National Park in west Tx. Top down on the trip there and while there. On the return trip it as up. Fuel mileage average was 24 mpg with an average speed of 55 mph if my math was right. Like most have reported the displayed fuel mileage was exaggerated by 1.3 to 1.5 mpg on each fuel up. The only complaint with the car was I really couldn't feel the cooled seats and some lower back pain. Other than that the car performed well and no odd wear marks on the top while down.
The best road was fm 170 through the state park side, looked like a road that would have been filmed from Top Gear.
The worst part of the trip were some TX rural roads in general. I call them chip n seal and some of them were brutal on a car from road noise to vibration. All in all a good trip and some amazing scenery if you like wide open country.
