Took delivery of the heat shield for my 1320 Junkie WD152 today. Super simple install, only 2 bolts.

I also got 2/3 of my Lloyd's mats today. I wanted to bring a little more color into the cabin, so I had the edging done in silver to match the embroidery on the mats, and to tie in with the color on the seats and door cards.

I went with these for the cabin mats. I really wanted to hold off for the new cobra logos for the front two mats, thats why they aren't here yet. I gave up waiting for them and ordered ones exactly like the second row.

After many emails with Lloyd's, I learned the process of licensure of the Shelby name, and Ford cobra is a pretty big hurdle, and it will take a very, very long time. Perhaps years, if they even decide to design one.
Jmeo...i am starting to dislike you (joking) you quite literally did exactly what i had planned to do with my Lloyd mats, and many other items, if only I had my car.....within the week....anyway good to see that it looks really good and i will probably be doing the same thing. i haven't decided which logos but likely will use the silver piping also.

One of the problems of having a massive 5’5” stature, is constant seatbelt rubbing of the side of my neck. I found a guy on fleebay who makes seat belt pads. I asked him to make me a set with suede bottom, grey stitching, and the new cobra logo to match my seats. They came out great, and I am happy to report they solved my issue.

I think I’ll let my twin Duane Johnson know I found the cure for this problem....

I LOVE those, Jaime and please post a link. (I didn't see one in your build thread.) I could set Mr. G. to work but I'd like to find the same outfit.

I was surprised by the color and then I realized it was a late afternoon sun shot. Did the white balance correction and I see he matched things PERFECTLY. Those are just TOO KEWELL (and I ain't no round ball team center, either.) :-)

Did some shit finally to mine. APR GTC 500 wing, Verus diffuser, caliperfexion studs, camber plates. And reinforced the trunk area for the wing.

First mod going on this weekend.

Steeda trunk pop kit. Super easy 2 min install, $70, one less time I have to put my hands on a painted surface.

Edit: felt the struts in person on another mustang and wasn't too too in love with them, not very smooth to pull down. Maybe if our cars had a loop inside the trunk that would help so you don't have to touch the paintwork or spoiler to close it.

I have been working on this creation with the really great people from Grand Design Mat for the last two months to come up with this design for my trunk lid mat. I just took delivery of this today, and I was floored when I opened the package and saw just how incredible this came out. Pictures just do NOT do this thing justice. Here is the description.

2020 GT500 Cobra logos (thanks @kilobravo) painted Ford Performance Blue & gloss white
Gloss white "SHELBY" with Ford Performance Blue accent
Gloss white "GT500" with Ford Performance Blue accent
Color matched carpeting, with carpet lined christmas tree fasteners for a really great finish

The snakes, and lettering are all hand painted plexiglass, and are recessed into the carpeted panel. The entire thing weighs maybe 2lbs (for those weight conscientious people). Simply remove three of the original christmas tree push pins from the OEM trunk mat, put the Grand Design Mat in place, and install the three carpet lined push pins.

I knew this was coming, which is why I ordered my Lloyd's trunk mat with the Carol Shelby signature, instead of the Shelby embroidery that I put on the cabin mats. I think this Grand Design Mat ties in Perfectly with the Lloyd's carpeted mat.

While messing around today I removed what I consider to be an eyesore. There is this plastic bracket that has one harness attached to it, just in front of the fuse box. I took it out, and rerouted the harness underneath itself, if that makes sense. Looks a lot better now.

I may now move on to the hood release cable, as @marklboris has previously shown us.

Sometimes it's the small things.....

I am very happy with these pedal covers. They give a great feel, much better than the stock pedals, and look great as well. Installation was pretty easy as well.
