Never to early to start to hear everyones plans to mod.

For me I expect to be 100% satisfied with its performance and looks.

I plan to get it ceramic coated and possibly get the paint corrected depending how many swirl marks I see.

Well, lets see..... If I can find a lightweight roll cage, I would do that. @Epiphany s caliperfexion brake studs, tow hook, tear away windshield protection, full Xpel, jack rails, maybe a lithium ion battery, etc. This is going to be a track monster.

A set of drag radials on another set of rims maybe.

    Nothing else.

Oh, yes, there is no way those wheels will be used on the street. The caliper clearance is small, about as small as 6GR wheels, credit card distance.

Ceramic coating, clear bra hoping they come out with some engine bay dress up stuff to replace all plastic pieces especially the Coolant overflow wish they would have gone with the Shelby one like on super snakes.

Agree I will only track it for fun at Shelby events and other special times maybe a couple times a year the rest of the time it’s a weekend ride with the car club and some coffee and cars stuff with the guys. I don’t need to be the fastest I just need to be fast.....lol

All American Paint Protection in Rockville MD they have done quality work for me in past their website is pretty good to see what products they use for both ceramic and clear bra. They do window tinting as well and paint correction.

Pristine Auto is top notch and is located about an hour south from reading. Chad is the only person I would ever let touch my black paint. Not only is he an amazing at detailing cars but he is an awesome photographer as well. Some of the best shots ever of my car were taken by him.

    Pulley/tune/Drags

The car is a beast stock. Adding a few more hairs to its chest will be fun.

Rear subframe lockouts - possibly. I'm not buying a GT500, but it was a good mod on the GT350.

Whats your expected HP gain? Or is this more a personal preference and for sound?

Mainly sound yes, be interesting to know the weight of it when it’s out, HP gains are minimal. Just an easy mod to start with. I’ll
Be upgrading the reservoirs pretty quickly as well as rear seat delete.

Been making this list (actually a full spreadsheet) since i decided to get a GT500.

Some things i will do in order likely will be dependent on aftermarket availability....not sure how long it takes on a new model

    1. 5% window tint
    2. Ceramic coat
    3. Forged wheels 21x11.5 square setup, 325/25/21 tires, also set of rear drag wheels/tires
    4. Body Color Paint (side mirrors, rear wing, front bumper undecided)
    5. Debadge: front cobra(if can be done, black out otherwise), side cobras (if no holes), Ford performance smooth rear taillight panel
    6. Shelby performance coolant expansion tank, catch can if not equipped
    7. Lowering springs when available
    8. Probably a sub box, depends how the stock system is
    9. Jacking Rails, rear cradle support of some type, possible front subframe brace
    10. LLoyds floor mats
    11. Cold Air, headers, h-pipe (no cats), pulley, tune.....likely this will be done way down the line while others figure out what works and what doesn't
