Assuming it’s done for. Airbags went off, not sure if that classifies it as totaled or not. under hood looks fine, frame horn wasn’t touched, washer fluid bottle is fine

Insurance has it at a salvage site to be inspected so assuming it’s totaled. Total loss or not ?

Mine was front end hit top frames were crushed hood was misaligned airbags Didn’t go off and it was written off

Would buying it back and turning it into a track or drag car be worth it to you?

Insurance will usually fix 80% of the value of the car. You'd be surprised the mangled junk they will fix to save a buck

A total loss claim has to be at least 72%-75% of current ACV.

When I wrecked my 18, a bunch of my airbags went off. They added over 6K to the repair. It hit the threshold for totaling it before that, but yes they add a significant amount to the repair.

Heard back from the insurance company. they said the repair cost is $14k, and frame is fine. They said most of the damage was just the airbag system, seat, and interior pieces. only about $4k of it was body damage.
