18 manifold install,lost power and boost....

just got the 18 manifold installed on my 16 procharged gt. With stock manifold i made 660whp on 10-11psi. After manifold install i only made 635 whp and only 8 psi. Something doesn't seem right. Sent the logs to lund, hoping they had the tune very conservative. Anyone else have issues?

Boost reading is going to drop since manifold is less restrictive, but power should be up a bit at peak and hold it longer.

Man, I was just playing about a different size turbo.
I don't know why you would have a loss of power. I'm interested in knowing as well because I plan on going boosted soon to.

Why? I woulda just stuck with the gen2 intake. A extra 10 peak when ur already making 660 ain't gonna do shit. And don't think that the 18+ intake will magically give you another 50 horse haha.

It has been well proven the 18 manifold is an improvement over the 15 manifold. Esp. On boosted applications. That's why.

Yeah.. I see it's doing wonders for you. Anyways, 18+ mannys can/have made 900 wheel. 15-17 mannys have also made 900 wheel. One last thing. Why you comparing HP at 6 psi v 11 psi ? Expect the 18 to be equivalent to the extra 5 psi ?

Oh shit my bad. You have a leak. Find it, fix it. And if you please good sir, post the peak to peak difference when you have the chance.

+1 on leak. Does your new manifold have gaskets on the bottom? Did they somehow get curled up when installing it? Check leaks in other spots first too. Did you change anything else?

Has to be a leak, I did the same swap on a turbo build and I picked up 30hp off it lol
