[?] '18 Intake Manifold on '15-'17

Curious what you did because the pic isn't showing up. Assuming that you are talking about fitting the stock intake cover.

I bet that's my problem, pretty sure I routed it wrong & my IMRCs probably aren't getting enough vacuum. I'll reinstall mine tonight and switch up the plumbing.

I know that the 15 intake has a vacuum reservoir so I'm assuming that the 18 does too. If you had the imrcs hooked to a different vacuum source then hopefully that was your issue. It seems as though it would throw a code for both banks though.

i have the wiring and vacuum diagram just like raptorgabe and im still throwing a P2005 same code i had when i hooked it up just like the 2017 with both solenoids and vacuum lines now i went back to the 2018 setup and same thing. I already ordered lockouts 2 mpg is not worth it anymore until someone figures out the wiring and or diagrams.

I clicked the link and it worked. Is the center part of your intake cover separated from the bottom part? I chose to not cut my intake cover at all. I am drawing up some brackets right now so hopefully I will have time to print those out later and have mine finished.

its separated for now and just sitting on there yea. I had to seperate it so I could paint it.. so I separated it again so I could cut the minimal amount to get it to fit the 18 manifold. If you separate the middle part you can drill straight down to put new fasteners in that line up direct with the grommets in the 18 manifold.

Here is a pic for reference of where to drill.. much easier than fiddling with brackets IMO.

Once epoxied back together there will be no space between the black/red parts, for now its just loose though.

Are you just using a bolt head as the new pin that seats in the grommet and cutting off the stock pin?

Yes thats the exact plan.. I'll flip it over and take a pic when I get home.

I currently have the new pin high enough that the stock pins have not been cut off.. I'm going to lower the cover and fine tune it once I get my final 18 manifold in case there is a difference in manufacturing tolerances. The one in the pic was the one that was broken in shipping.

Yeah the same thing crossed my mind about throwing the code for both banks.

I really don't know, but it's a lead and worth a try. Hopefully I can give it a shot tonight.
