18 GT Wot Box

Just put in N2MB Wot box in about 2 nights ago. I went through the check list and everything worked perfect. I went for a ride yesterday and decided to try it out again, when I did the car sounded like a bomb went off and now the motor is ticking bad and water coming from the right side tailpipe. I spoke to N2MB and sent them a screen shot of my settings they said that they were perfect and if I wired it incorrectly the setting would have been off. Lol anybody else go through this.

LOL did you check to see if it was coolant? Do you have any check engine lights? Did the car tick before the boom? Does the car seam to run correctly after the boom? You gotta start with basic trouble shooting.

It’s crazy the oil is normal color and smell, the car runs smooth no misses and no check engine light and the coolant has not dropped.There was no noise before at all. The sound goes up and down with the rpm,it’s definitely not a knock but a loud tapping. It sounds like it’s coming from the 1 cyl.

All good signs. I’d remove a valve cover and see if this noise is valve train related. Damaged rocker. Something of that nature. Start on the side the noise is coming from.

Have a N2MB WOT Box on my GT500. When banging gears @ WOT will sometimes get pops due to fuel building up when ignition is cut during shifts. I know the motors are apples and oranges but have never heard of any damage from this.
