I noticed my lower grill has 1 horizontal bar and 3 vertical as opposed to the honeycomb grill like the main. All the GT's were like this at the dealership i purchased from. Looking at pictures and videos online i noticed all the GT's have the honeycomb lower, unlike mine. Why is this? Did they put the wrong lower grill in from factory? Anyone else have this issue? FYI, build date is 12/17. One more thing, I noticed my fogs are not projecting at the same height, is there anyway to adjust them? Thanks!!!

Does yours have the Safe and Smart package? Do the other cars at the dealership have it? That probably is your explanation.

How did you determine that your fogs are projecting at a different height? It really should make a huge difference, but if it's that much of a concern, it's still under warranty

Or are you comparing your 18, to other model years? Or non-GT

If your car came with a block heater or adaptive cruise control they will have a different lower grill..

No Safe and Smart package. It looks like the ecoboost lower grill. I noticed the fogs were off when pulling up to my garage door, one is aimed higher than the other. Its enough to where they need to be re-aligned. I prefer to not take my car to the dealer if i dont have to. My purchase dealer is 3 hours away, so i lose that buy connection with my local dealer.

That's it. Mine does have the optional block heater, I noticed the cord running alongside the lower lip of the grill. Gotta love living in Wisco. Though i park my car over winter, so its useless. I may just cut the bars out, it'll look alot cleaner.

I had a 2015 GT and live in Mn,I ordered the non block heater lower grill and had dealer install, cost $90 for grill and they installed for $100 so very reasonable for having to remove front clip of car to replace lower grill.

That's a steal, I may do that. I cant believe that Ford couldn't utilize the honeycomb lower with the block heater cable. Unreal.

And to your other question, yes, the fog lights are adjustable. You have to pull the wheel well liner back and the adjustments are back of the lights.

For the '18? I ask because I scoured the manual and the net and couldnt find any info.

There’s also a reason why the adaptive cruise control models have a different type of grille. So make sure you have it or not.
