True, but the tax min might not see it that way. They're weird that way.

Overall if you keep one long enough the depreciation isn't that bad IMHO. We ordered our '13 GT Vert, and it arrived in May 2012. MSRP was a tad over 43K, and with discounts paid just north of 37K. We're going to trade it on the '18 we just ordered, and was offered 20K for it on trade-in. No matter how you look at it 17K depreciation on a nearly 6 year old car with 41K miles is pretty good. IMHO

But, if you want to trade in a new one in less than a year you gonna get screwed. :shocked:

Same here, and finding a nice convertible is almost impossible. Even harder to come by are the '05 - '09's. I've got quite a few wanting to buy my '06 GT coupe. But, if I sold it I couldn't find another.
